The way the game picks in ar is sometimes way imbalanced; on one side you get 2 stunners, 2 int (with disables), and 1 agi. The other side gets an all int team without any disables or stun (in some cases). I go -lm =league mode, -ap if given the chance. That way there is no one to blame but the team when it comes to picking the heroes^^

but that's the way it is dude. if your opponents decided to play an Ar game, then prepare yourself on how you will survive. i don't think that imbalance occur oftenly concerning the auto picking heroes, but when it does, do your best as you can as well us your team.

i experienced the match between us Tinker and Goblin Techies against them, Blood Seeker and Baratum. The first level and the mid game was way hell difficult, and the event was apparently hopeless unto us, but because of our team work and plans on how to crash their base. Les Viola!!! we won!

it really depends on the player but not the heores. oftenly, heroes who are not your line and used, it gives you a little bit of burden and time of adaptions on the game. people who make more mistakes, loses

Happens sometimes but seriously if it where against 2 teams who had equal skill, teamwork, etc (hypothetically speaking of course). The line up may help on the win.

On an eerie off topic coincidence I wrote the ar imbalance thing just after I ar'ed tinker and we won the game even when we were all int heroes. Although I used unfair means to do so... (backdooring) yes some say its illegal but I'll used it in a 4v5 any day (I have no sense of honor^^)... I like to thank my team, though all of you are strangers to me; you defended the base to the bitter end even when all that was left of the base was the top.

On topic...

Yes I agree that teamwork alone can sometimes save our butts. But forgive me, even though you have a really good point, you have to admit that some of the heroes in dota are not really league material (on an “I want to win nothing more basis”). Heck I even admit my favorite hero tinker is not that good in serious team battles.

But because of the habits of me and my friends, always planning a line up I forgot the finer things in life. For that I bow down to you with my thanks for showing me that ar mode is not made out of seriousness but for fun. If it weren't for ar I wouldn't have discovered tinker in the first place^^

Used to be a Morphy player even in the 5.6X+ versions, but nowadays I don't play him anymore. Dunno why <.<

Anyway, I fance Silencer and Pugna now. I just like them all-around types ^_^

i totally agree with you nova. the -ar mode really gives an idea on how you adapt yourself in a numerous gameplay. infact, this mode will help you on how to know the other character's property. so that you'll know how to counter other characters with more advantages to them, moreover, your weaknesses too.

we all know, dota is a game of teamwork and nothing could ever change that. honestly, i hate the 1 on 1 match because its not fun to play the game. so teamwork should work over and over from time to time.

-ar gives me the right knowledge the do's and don'ts for my random character. and what items should be used and not to used.

Cnong favorite hero??hindi q kilala hero nyo...basta sakin Rikimaru, Bone Clinx, Sniper, Dark Terror, at Mortead....Rikimaru-Mortread Tandem...ASTIG!!!! Wink

Dark Terror is my best Hero so far...kasi kahit noob pa ako..naka triple kill at dominating agad ako Laughing

ako ang paborito ko ay ang super duper na ABADON...
dahil ngaun sa bagong version isa xa sa mga pinakamalakas na tank at support...
lagi kaming panalo pag ito gamit ko.... aphotic shield pa lang nga eh may kill ka na tapos may bago pang death coil na pang kill... kahit bane elemental nahirapan dito.. kc pag may borrowed time na xa kahit eh ss pa ng bane macancel pa rin basta hp nya below 400... galing talaga... Laughing
