Lothars can never really substitute blink, I wouldn't buy lothars for Zeus just to replace blink.

Come on... Blink dagger's cost= 2150... New lothar's cost= 4200... a difference?
Most heroes that need an escape tool can't deviate 4k from their main build just to escape, and there is the 200 gold problem of wards... Think about it... you just spent half your game farming for your escape tool for someone to foil it with 200 gold...

lothars is expensive and beneficial for some heroes, especially agi-types.

i think there is no item today that can match the old kelen's dagger in escaping. the cheapest items that can be used for escaping are town portal and ancient tango.

town portal - juke then teleport.
ancient tango - use the fog of war in the forest and start destroying trees to create a different path.

The easiest solution is to not get yourself in trouble in the first place. Abuse disables.

The easiest solution is to use heroes with disables. Then get a blink dagger. Stun and escape Laughing

Repeat and rinse Laughing

Occasionally you can blink and stun Laughing

Sounds like 6.48b instead Laughing

i prefer lothars than dagger seems useless nowadays except on int type hero hehehehe. and i lothars on nvermore and traxex since they are agi heroes it gives like 30+ damge correct me i am wrong

On AGI heroes Lothar's is good but on INT heroes and STR heroes dagger is still more viable. Proper juking and disabling should still make dagger an escape item, just watch for radiance and other damage-over-time abilities.

Lothar cant replace kelen! Just run quickly with all of your power and pray to god!
Btw i was very happy with kelen's change, when it was "escape", its the most annoying item. "Hehehe...dont run to your base, i will send you to your fountain." and he just blink away. Wtf!
