and I would have to disagree with the peak being at 14. Once you are in college, your free time increases exponentially, meaning more time for DotA meaning crazy skills

Well, if ure willing to not be a good student, then you can be all the way till the end of college a pro ^^. Tho I know some people who have done that and I really feel sorry about them. Imagine being absent from school for 2 weeks just to play DotA /WoW ( person I kno did this)...

no, skipping for dota is bad (shim skipped health day and played dota, really that was a good idea, you left the motivational talks feeling depressed)
anyway by providing insights into dota, readers of this will think "wow these guys are smart" and not post useless topics and instead give us annoying pms.

Why would you skip? Just bring a laptop and "study" or "take notes"

@jimboh Im not saying to skip school, I'm just saying that school takes less time meaning you have more free time to spend as you wish (and Dota is a posibility)

@Ghost I'd rather they post than PM me, just so other can laugh/annoy them

@Amp well, then this thread should be moved since the topic is about making ourselves known and telling people about our experiences is part of that

Hi everyone! I'm Teodor von Burg a.k.a. deathseeker. 15 years old, joined DS 5 mocths ago after playing Dota for 3 months. I like Dota because I'm a mathematician(a successful one). Went to IMO(Internacional Mathematical Olympiad) in Madrid and won a silver in the senior category(up to 20 years). Anyway, a lvl 25 FV with MoM and Hyperstone has about 0.00004% chance of permabashing a target for 15 wacks with 1st starting a bash, while with 1 basher the chances become: 0.004% to permabash a target for 15 wacks.
With 2 bashers the chance is 0.54%...NICE! 10000 times more chance with 2 bashers!(if someone is suprised the chances are so small, consider that a usual permabash consists of chasing with TW and Chrono.The chances increase allot then)

additional info about me...
i play dota about 15 hours a week(i have school now(im valedictorian))
if i am in a vacation i play about 3-5 hours a day

off topic: who vote no in the Should this be stickied??
