You can make your own sigs anyway, look at my 5 sigs. XD (you can notice them change every now and then)

Ive found a t-shirt in a department store worth $97, i borrowed $50 from my mom and another $50 from my dad so i have $100 =)

i bought the shirt for $97 so i have $3 for change.

i returned $1 to my mom. That means i have $49 as credit to mom.


i returned $1 to my dad. That means i have $49 as credit to dad.

therefore:

credit to mom + credit to dad + change,

substitution: $49 + $49 + $1 = $99


my question is where did my $1 went? >.<

shouldnt be $100 since $50 from mom and $50 from dad is a $100? =3

It's basically :

Positive Credit to mom/dad = Negative money.

Therefore :

-49 + (-49) + 1 = Cost of shirt
-49 - 49 + 1 = Cost of shirt
-98 + 1 = Cost of Shirt

Cost of Shirt = -97

It is in negative form because of the simple point that when you buy, it deducts your money. >_<

In this formula,

Initial Money + Cost of Item Bought = Final Money

So if we substitute the values,

100 + (-97) = 3
3 = 3

Therefore it is correct.

There is another formula, but its pretty much the same.
Initial Money - Absolute value of the price of the item bought = Final Money
