Hero guides that we need

How do you put videos/images/youtube links etc. in your guide?
Also have the same problem with my sig.

Yeah, the one here went goo stats, and BB is known for his Bristle back, you need to get that. SO if you want to make a guide, go for it. As for screenshots, check out this: http://www.dotastrategy.com/forum/ftopic14431.html There is some info about how to add that stuff into your guide.

As for your sig, it's not showing up since you are using the link code and not the image code, try putting [img] and [/img] around the url like this

i think the sig lenght would need to be extended if people were to link all guides and have a picture.
and sig rules do not apply to guide advertisement, unless your guide sucks.

after you submit your guide, ST's would read it and vote if it's good or not. then, the MOD's will approve the guide if majority voted good. once approved, your guide is guaranteed to be published ...you'll just have to wait until it does.

you're right, if you like to put a link of 3 guides in your sig with image, it exceeds the character limit. i hope the admin increase the limit.

I was wondering where some of the good guides went; there were [and still are] some stupid guides. I was working on a guide at one stage but i didn't publish it because by the time i went to submit it there was basically the same thing twice.

yeah well thats why i don't link my misc guides.
on the other hand my counter guide will probably be revamped so as to not require a download eventually...
after my maths exams.. tomorrow and the day after.
i like this study break.


lol i like my new sig too ^_^
markeus clearly got a little bored, quite like his photoshopping style.
lots of pretty images overlayed and blended very well.
where as i go hyperactive on the pen tool duplicate and rotate to my hearts content.
then trace workpath and add clouds.
then you get a pretty fractal.

You submit it, the st and mods vote to determine if it should get approved, once it gets approved it will be published in due time (this could take some time ) if it doesn't get approved/just stays pending for a long time you can pm and ST (NOT A MOD) about it and they can give you feedback about it to make it better

Good guides are updated from time to time so if it was temporarily mia it was probably being updated

as for you having double text, try to do it all at once, plan it out in Word (or mac equivalent) before hand and the do it all at once, you might also want to switch browsers (IE to Firefox or Firefox to IE) that works for some odd reason

that's not hard since I post so much, unless he keep saying "omg folechno is teh awesome I luv him I want have his babies" but I don't remember seeing anything to that effect

@quale ty, although I might just use a link on word text and put both my lina guide and the guide making guide on the same line, I could take out inspiring a posting rule but that's how awesome I am

Hahaha,, i`m a newbie and i have post my rexxar guide.. And the ST said to me that i`m a newbie here and you must to be active at the forum. You can look at my post, LOL. So, here it is. I have to be active now.. LOL

Umm and want to ask something too here.. 29 september i want go the Australia to continue my study (i`m from indonesia, piracy here is very common). If i have illegal dota in my laptop would be it a problem? Should i delete it?

IMO Motred needs a guide. Before there was one. but that guy was a uh not really understands some specs of dota and wrote buriza stacks with motred's ulti.. So yerh.. Motred guide woot woot
