it is a scenario where you pick a hero and then level the hero up which gives you cool and interesting abilities. You get gold by killing things which you can use to buy items to become stronger.

The point is to kill 1 specific building (the Ancient) on the opponents side. Hence, Defense of your Ancient.

There are lots of heroes and lots of items so the games are never the same and lots of cool interations/combos allowing for team play or for solo play.

If you want to try it out, I recommend going to the download section up above and getting a map with AI so that you can play against computers to decide if you like it or not.
