Breloom indeed is more battle-wise. Spore/Sub/FPunch/Filler is rape.

I myself am a serious player. I have around 8teams of full evtrained perfect IV'd pokemon but have no wi-fi so cant actually use them.

I even have a perfect Blissey >_>

You know this type of Blissey:

Blissey @ Leftovers
252 HP, 252Def 4SpDef , Calm
-Softboiled
-Aromatheraphy
-Ice Beam
-Seismic Toss

And since I have tons of Ice Beam TMS along with Thunder Wave TMS, I switch them alternatively.

I constantly fight with my friend(serious player) and we just usually have draws since I always keep a Choice Scarfed Metagross with me to use Explosion. But these days, that never happens. He counters it :O

Blissey's have awesome HP but crap defense.

And I just got the Pokerus, awesome XP bonus for me!

I use my Blissey as a Special Wall/Sponge/Cloth, aside ofcourse from being a main annoyer. I also have a perfect Garchomp, DDMence, SpecsMence, MixMence, MixApe, Heat Wave Honchkrow(Lulz Platinum ), Heat Wave Zapdos

My Zapdos is pretty awesome.

Zapdos @ Life Orb
252 SpAtk 252 Spd 4HP
Timid
-Discharge
Mainly for paralyzing enemies while giving off decent damage.
-Heat Wave
Burning or Paralyzing is the option. Seriously. Deals Decent Damage with a chance of burn.
-Substitute
Safe attacking while using Discharge.
-Baton Pass
If Substitute remains in tact, I'd baton pass to my DD Outrage Mence(Platinum again)

Salamence @ Lum Berry/Yache Berry/Focus Sash (Alternated)
252 Atk , 252 Spd 4 HP
Jolly
-Outrage
A more solid dragon type move. More power + STAB = Insane Damage after a single Dragon Dance. Reason for Lum Berry
-Dragon Dance
A single + to Speed and Attack could destroy almsot anything except for Ice Shard users. Reason for Yache Berry/Focus Sash
-Earthquake
More type coverage, decent damage.
-Fire Fang
More type coverage, low damage. Fixed by Dragon Dance.

My team is pretty solid right now. I've been doing nothing but building them so what do I expect. Oh btw, a solid pokemon anywhere:

Heracross @ Focus Sash/Life Orb/Flame Orb
252 Atk 252 Spd 4 HP
Jolly
Megahorn
Earthquake/Facade (Alternated)
Swords Dance
Close Combat

This can only be switched in knowing that the enemy will switch so you can freely and safely use Swords Dance. After Guts activates and you do a Swords Dance, Heracross will have about 1047 Attack (1147 if your nature is Adamant)

Hmm, I can't remember my entire team. Since there's no chance at all I'll fight you, I'll post what I do remember. I can't really remember their natures or exact EV spreads...

Charizard @ Salac Berry (Chibizard)
252 Speed, 252 Attack, 6 in... HP? I definitely remember his HP IV was 30, so that it was divisible by 4.
The nature was one of the +speed ones
Earthquake
Substitute
Belly Drum
Fire Punch

Jolteon @ Life Orb (Keswick)
252 Speed, 252 Sp. Attack, 4 HP
Substitute
Baton Pass
Thunderbolt
HP Ice

Donphan @ Leftovers (Har Gau)
Can't remember his EV spread
Earthquake
Rapid Spin
Stealth Rock
Something else...

Milotic @ Leftovers (Athena)
Can't remember her EV spread
Surf
Recover
Something else...

I don't really remember much anymore, it's been a while. I think I had a Mixedmence to clean up, and a Specs Flygon just to lure out walls.

General strategy revolved around Jolteon and Charizard. Send Jolteon out against someone vulnerable to lightning. They usually swap out to some ground thing, substitute. Baton Pass to Charizard. They usually end up using Earthquake, so the sub stays intact. Belly Drum, Salac Berry Activates, +speed. They break the sub. Sub again, Blaze activates. They break the sub. Then just Fire Punch and Earthquake as required. ^u^

Anyway, when it works you feel great, but this team really needs reviewing because there are some things Bellyzard can't 1hKO and some things that are still faster than Charizard with a Salac Berry. I probably need some way to pass an agility to him. =_=;;;

Yea me too decided to dig up the old emerald. the pokemon contest is such fun. And I wasted some time trying to find the ****ing feebas but the stupid fish didn't show up so I gave up after like 2-3 hours.
