Guide for Walkthrough Makers

So...I had a bit of spare time and hey I decided to make a guide...for guide/walkthrough makers.

So lets start shall we?

Table of Contents
1.Introduction
2.The guide itself
3.Extra stuff
4.Copyright

Thats what a Table of Contents in your guide look like.
But you kinda need to get a seperate Table of Contents for the Walkthrough which kinda would look like this:

and so on

And an Introduction would look something like this:

Hello there! I'm Deathborn 668 on the message boards, and this is my FAQ for
Pokemone FireRed/LeafGreen, newer versions of the olden R/B/Y days. I'm
writing this since I have nothing better to do. Hope you enjoy this
Walkthrough.
Do's and Don'ts of my FAQ:
DO:
-Use this for refrence
-Print it out
-Give this to other people FOR NO CHARGE

DON'T:
-Plagirize with no credit
-Call this your won work
-Sell this for profit

Also, if you want to ask me something, or have found something new I don't
have in my walkthrough, contact me on the boards. I'm sick of spam and people
who clearly cannot read simple instructions in a guide, or know how to push
the two button Ctrl and F at the same time. For my sanity, just call and
attention topic on the FireRed board and I will come. I don't visit the
LeafGreen boards, your topic won't be read by me there.

Okay thats done.

Now for the guide itself.

Doing a guide can be very easy. But these are a few things you should really have:

A sense of humor
Logic
Common Sense
Opinion

You should have your own opinion when your making guides. As well as the obvious stuff I already told. Make your guide appealing to look at.

Humor is there to make the guide a bit different from the others.

Logic and Common sense are well....obvious.

Anyways , when it comes down to guide making you should follow these tips:

Never ever leave anything out. Take out every bit of secrets and others that the people should know.

Give your status when you were on that part of the game your making a walkthrough for.

An Example is:

4th Gym - Erika

My team:

Charizard
Mewtwo
Deoxys

All Lv.100 I hacked them so yeah!!!

Whatever thats done.

Lets move on to the Extras shall we?

Extras are well...extras.

Extras by that I mean is well...secrets , extra stuff and glitches even if possible. Sharing everything you know is important in a guide.

Dont leave out a piece of information or stuff like that. Nah thats the work of a lazy and/or forgetful person.

The last but not the least is Copyright.

Dont let anyone copy your guide/walkthrough. Ever Let them if you allow it on a site you want your guide to be on like Gamefaqs or even IGN.

Its pretty hard doing so but hard work is wasted people will do it anyway.

Ask the people to e-mail or IM you if they want to put your guide somewhere else.

Another thing: Frequently update your guide.
