New Lycan Early Roshan...

Just played a game. With boots, vlads and sapphire flask I solo roshed at lvl 7 with pretty much no microing needed. Just make sure rosh doesnt attack you but the wolves. You don't need to use utli, save mana for wolves, and you got yourself aegis in 1min or2.

With veno I take 6-7mins to do the crap and lose a lot of levels XD not worth it.

what was your skill build ^^ ? (obvs lvl 4 wolves, but what else?)
If i was to do it I might neglect ulti in favor of more howl/feral.
Also, when roshing with Veno, having 1 or 2 allies makes that 5 minutes go ridiculously faster. When i random veno i pump wards and poison until lvl 7 and attempt to push mid tower asap so my lanemate and i can rosh hella fast. But solo is not worth it, jsut takes too much time.

Really, lycan's not THAT imba... look at people like Ursa or Veno who can take rosh down pretty easily. He's lost his permabash, and that's something to love now.

Yeah killing roshan at early level should not be the imba indicator of an hero and if you see him just tp away remember the dawgz don't have a bash anymore.

Hmm the ulti got improved but damm first lvl stays like 14 sec and coooldown 100sec:O. Hmm u better use it in the right time or u can wait 100sec for nothing^^. But yeah i gonna watch some replays when i get home cause i like the improvement now^^

lol wolves cant permabash at all.

Also, Lycan can do it much faster than Veno (bout 1 min faster) and he certainly has more lane control + killing potential than Ursa.

instead of lycan perma bash.... he now perma crits with his high ms and his high crit lvl. im not sure if he can take down roshan but im sure he can jungle which is pretty strong which is how i feel. I feel the NEW change was not needed. just leave heros as they r. otherwise people will get mad. XD.

If you time it right, you will get 2 sets of wolves to help you take down Roshan, with Howl making it even easier. That's like a 2000+ hp meat shield doing lots of damage fast. With vlads, the wolves will regen some hp (as will you) so it is quite easy

and despite him not having bash anymore, I still see people getting dual bashers on him

OT this is post #981, so 19 more and I'll be goldike, and then 1000+ more to be beyond godlike (I think 2500)

their either old skool. dunno about the change or noob/stupid to get bashers. lol. they need change that and get armlet or buriza or a mkb. that will diliver the dps they need. maybe a hyper or bkb to define the numbers of 511 ms.. thats max right... dun hate i cant remember pls its my handphone. then he wont get stunned and he will not get killed he will just kill. lik hunters in geylang hehe. XD.

522 is max ms, and yes dps items are much better since he will need to put more into being permabash where as you only need 1 dps item and you can easily chase for the kill

thank u for ur kinda words on the ms 522 i have it stored in my head. oh ya i remember... coz now in .53 u can click the rune. then it gives a note that says oh this will give 522ms which is the highest.... u no. anyways thx i rather hear it from a person rather than a computer. thx anyways. XD

a new lycan?these days versions of dota are killing the old ones,..

everytime a new map is made ther are lots of changes,..
is that possible that u could get lvl 4 wolves at lvl 7?? i dont think so,.even if ur build is feral and wolves,..

yes possibly u can farm for vlads at lvl 7 in a 1 0n 1 or 3 0n 3 game very impossible for 5 0n 5 even if ur that skilled enough on last hitting u can always be bullied by ur enemy,..

i think ursa can do better than lycan,..

The recent maps have had very few changes other than fixing bugs and balancing some heroes. And the most recent changes were 1 new hero and a reworking of an old one, not very much.

Yes it is possible to get lvl 4 wolves by lvl 7. You can get them at lvl 1/3/5/7. You can't max both wolves and feral heart by then, but lvl 4 wolves and lvl 3 heart is enough to take Rosh down (if you have a vlads)

In a 1v1 or 3v3 game, you will start out with enough money to get a vlads, so yes, it's possible to get valds by lvl 7. In a 5v5 game, it's not that hard either, he can use the wolves to harass the enemy so that they back off so there's no competition for last hitting/denying. Also, he has a good base damage, making last hitting easier. And 2400 is easy to farm, especially when you have 3 units trying to last hit.


Yep, I'm godlike, so I will demand sacrifices and an awesome crown. I did a little countdown for my last 10 posts (that was what the number was for in my previous post) and then I proclaimed my godlike status in post #1000
