Which is better, a Razor w/ Satanic or a Razor w/ Mjoinir?

actually SnY would go well with Razor but since you're choosing between Mjollnir and Satanic... with razors high asp, Mjollnir has a high probability of letting out the lightning bursts.. 25% lifesteal from satanic depends on your damage.. its not much of a use unless your damage is good. it still makes a good combo with your 3rd skill, the life regen one.... unholy rage is still nice though.. but i guess the item build depends entirely on what hero your opponent has chosen.

Mjollnir is good but it's more of a farming item and pushing item. Satanic allows you to stay in the battle longer and even stand up against tanks. He will have dps due to Frenzy (the lifesteal will help to cover the extra damage). Skadi is also a good item to consider since it will stack with lifesteal and the slow will allow you to keep people within Storm seeker when you are chasing. For his orb effect though, I would have to say Satanic. SnY is okay but the other orb give him better stats.

Of these two items... I'm neutral. This is all situational. Satanic lets Razor survive and kill better and also improves his attack projectile. Mjollnir gives more dmg and chain lightning (spiffy!) and static field but having to keep casting is not so routine for me. He's more fragile in Mjollnir too.

both are good. assuming you have radiance already...

mjollnir? the common item for razor. DPS is his style.

satanic? for a little tanking capability. with great damage and attack speed this item is good. if enemies has stuns and disables then you'll have a problem.

you can't say which is better actually.

Personally I prefer to get mjollnir, as really fast DPS is the way I play him, and the shield helps kill enemies, but against a beefy team I would go satanic + high damage items (rad, bflys, mkb) so that I can stand up to them the whole time I'm facing them. With 3+ tanks on enemy team, go for satanic (this includes heroes like Medusa, Ogre Magi, and THD among others).

Both needs high ASPD to be able to use effectively. .

and BKB to keep him from hitting without interruptions . .

Mjolnir . . fast kill, fast push, good against melee heroes . .

Satanic . . survivability, tanking capabilities even against ranged (e.g. Huskar)

i guess it depends on whom you're facing against . .

Mjolnir definitely IMO. Satanic... yea they're gonna let you sit there attacking them for enough time to make a difference with that...

Mjollnir for me. If you want that Razor holds longer in battle just buy hp reg items like heart.

I prefer lifesteal. In a team battle, the heroes who will be targeted first are:
1] Support [disablers]
2] DPS heroes

Since you'll prolly buy Radiance or Buriza or MKB for Razor, would you really need another DPS item for him?

It depends on you priority mjol is offensive satanic is defensive. Now ask your self what kind of razor are you offensive or defensive. It also depends if you have other item that gives enough dps eg. butterfly mkb etc. if so then satanic is prefered because balancing damage and hp/armor/survivability is a must.
