Posted: Thu Jul 31, 2008 9:03 amwhy not give extra gold if someone got multikill-the double and triple kills, because it's not simple to acquire this. why not also make quadruple kill if someone just killed 4 heroes in a limited amount of time. i prefer this:
double kill - 250gold bonus
triple kill - 500gold bonus
quadruple kill - 750gold bonus
im also thinking if someone just killed five heroes, but i dont know what to call it, i dont think so of "pentakill" because it doesnt sounds good. so, what do u think with my opinion??

Well, couldn't be bad, since if someone is able to kill the whole team the game is over anyway, so a huge ammout of extra gold wouldn't matter
But, this will unfortunately encourage kill stealing a lot imo.

Not a good idea. Most of the time it's dumb luck. Like a Zeus getting a team kill from Wrath because the opposing team was chillin at their towers trying to regen or a Furion getting a triple kill because the heroes were low enough HP for HIS Wrath to finish them off. Some skills are made for multikills like Crystal's ultimate, Lich's ultimate, AoE monsters like Leshrac and Jakiro, etc. If one of them got a multikill and got like 2k gold from that, that's just unfair because they can get fed faster.

A multi kill by itself is sometimes enough to turn make a hero imba. you really dont want to give him bonus gold or its GG, actually i would let my friend ks my kill if it will give him some extra gold (its a team play at the end.
another point, earth shaker with dagger and refresher and mana. can take down the five players easily (blink, ulti, fissure, echoslam, hit, refresh, ulti, fissure ,echoslam, hit) seen it happen before. that would give him around 3750 gold if there was bonus.

Too much gold.
Encourages an already rampant KS.
You already get extra gold for sprees.
I'd much rather a sound file for quadkills/quintuple-kills.

u get gold for every kill anyway why make the stronger ones even more fed? evefy time they get a multi kill they complete a core item...thats not balanced at all.

haha I remember the good ol' days of basically every hero rushing Dagon. Triple kills were nothing special because everyone was dying so much hehe.

NOT a good idea.
you only should get extra gold if they have had a dominating streak ect.
you can get 600 gold for having beyond godlike status. and thats enough.
and it dosent take too much skill for double kill and above.
plus a teamkill is usually becasue the team is supervbe and letting opponents farm constantly. and are very silly.

If you can pull off a triple kill, then you're already winning, and giving you bonus gold for it on top of kill gold just makes it way too hard for other teams to fight back, and DotA's a game of push, counter-push, enemy needs to be able to fight back.

of course those are just abbreviated.. the phrases sound much better..
