I feel that Broodmother has no chance at all. Axe will control the lane so well that broodmother couldnt approach to last hit.

Even though broodmother can jungle, she will have most of her towers down by the time she get decent items, and so will axe, because he will be free farming.

Axe > BM

yup, agreed, the game I was playing I was scared to go harass him (like I would normally do to any hero when playing with brood) because a couple of helixes will put spidey in place add to this the decent chance to block the damage coming from vanguard.... Totally not worth it

hehe..it depends to the player skill..
by the wayif late game,if with spiderling and creeps,i thinkbrood will win with his 80%vampire atack...
but if the axe was clever,h buy 2 blademail and 2HoT...it willbe axe win..=)

i have try it b4 at my game...
late game broods late game axe with blademaill and hot is hard to kill...
if the axe is more clever,he will buy difusal to counter BM ulti...=)

Axe dominates early

but in late game

he doesnt stand a chance however a smart broodmother dont use spiders like folechno already said, but you must not forget that Counter Helix isnt great anymore in lategame. Axe could push like hell in early and mid yes but think about it pushing isnt smart early. broodmother will get her items then when axe has to face the 3th tower. Eventhough Axe (with probably 2 vanguard like mosst desperate people do) has a lot of hp, a broodmother with bkb can defeat axe easily surely and probably in late gaame.

so what items do you think the mama should go for early to try and counter Axe

To counter Brood, Axe will get Blademails to return the damage and a diffusal to purge her ulti. So she will need a BKB to be able to get around the return. Unfortunately she can't get around the purge unless she activates BKB and then activates her ulti and then pwns Axe.

So her build would be
Treads
BKB
Bfly
Bfly
Buriza

yes, no vlads since she won't be using her minions

If axe is kind of a noob he takes the game last for late game.Then its over for axe.

Early game pushes axe ftw.

I think that if axe pushes and farms early, he has a good chance of winning. But if brood gets farmed late game, it will be a lot harder for axe.
