always get guinsoo's first, since it is the best item for him. Gives lots of mana reg, int, and "perma"-hex.

But i like manta as a 5th or 6th item, i find other items a lot more useful.

Guinsoo's and other INT increasing items are better for Tinker.
Manta isn't that good,IMO.

Yaaa if u dont like the guinso build u could get manta yes.

But for me guinso is much better.

Laser>Rocket>Guinsoo>Rearm>Laser>Rocket>Guinsoo>Rearm. Thats a dead hero:D!

lol refresher??? Tinker ult is refresher without cooldown.

Anyways, I'd say that Manta screams out "LUXURY" on Tinker but it's a nice choice. I would take a Linken's or BkB first then a Guinsoo.

BoT is always... ALWAYS the first item you get on Tinker (excluding Bracers and regen). After that Manta Style or Shivas are the best choices. The idea of Manta Style is for turbo push which goes something like:
Telport to lane, cast March of Machines and Manta/shivas, Rearm, Cast MoM and manta/shivas on next wave and then teleport back to fountain.
Repeat.

Manta Style tinker is considered one of the greatest ideas ever come up with on dota. Other builds are just for pub smashing and Manta Style Tinker still works fine on pubs.

IMO I still believe its a waste of money, tinker is not a dps hero so you will have alot of images that dont do any damage

Manta Style Tinker was an idea that originated in 6.38 and suited for those versions of the map. The current version is already 6.53, for goodness' sake.

and you can push with 2 sets of illusions since the first set will disappear when you make the second set, I could see it kinda working, but he hass so much more killing power, and yes BoT FTW!

not unless you're Phantom Lancer, this same thing also applies to Necronomicon (but you can't rearm that anyway so it doesn't matter)
