Mekansm - one item for many

my freinds keep saying that i have an obsession with making mekansm on most heroes.

i did it in order to experiment, and what i foun out is that mekansm is good for most heroes (that have decent mana pools)

okay, i know that you do not make mekansm for bloodseeker, or bone clinkz or mortred or naix etc

but you can make it on lots of heroes still, like tree or abbadon or pudge, or warlock or rexxar or ogre magi or levithan

the ideea is that after a mana regeneration item, the mekansm is great on most heroes, except the heavy DPS heroes

just think about it, it gives:
+5 All Attributes
+5 Armor
Passive: 3 HP/sec regeneration aura
Active: Revitalize
Gives 2 bonus armor and heals 250 hit points to nearby friendly units.
150 Mana Cost

what hero doesn't lose HP? no one, and this item benefits the entire team, and also helps with pushing. so put your hands together to a must-have of every game

Too bad that you can't revitalize someone, who has already the buff... means in serious games it's useless to get it on abaddon or sth like that.

You are completely right. In league games you aren't allowed more than two mekansm in the whole team.. It is as u say a great item and the fact that it is a aoe heal makes it even better. You can be able to save a ally on low health etc..

I think it was 25 seconds before you can use it again when 2 heroes have mekansm and they use it after eachother no?

no matter, 2 are usually useless, and league games only allow just one of these (and arcane) on a team
and if in a pub, by any chance 2 players have mekas, one could use it for creep pushin, while the other for team saving.

if its not pub, theres a need, but on Int heroes. Like Lich, CM

However, its not good in a pub.

why not good in pubs, cause players can't sync right?

for example am a brilliant support player, unlike carry hero,
i mean i can't play void/mortred/slardar/barathu/troll/sand king/etc.
but had lots of kills/assists/saves with chen/omni/rexxar/venge/warlock/tree etc. and this in pub games, so i belive that mekansm is good in pubs

i kinda agree... i think mekansm is very much needed in every team... especially for pushing together...

I realy disagree on getting meka on heroes like tree,aba,levi...
I will use these 3 for examples...
1-st Tree the aura makes you visible and by the time you get meka (early i suppose) youre mana will not be able to handle it well...
2-nd aba...why dose he need an survival item? dosen't he have invurnerabiliti,an shield and an heal? (if both are timed right)...
3-rd levi has an mana pool that dosen't favor an mana consuming item and he realy needs to deal as much dmg wile the enemy is suned/slowed...

All of these heroes can make better use of some other,cheaper item.
HotD for example...it gives 20 dmg,5 armor,an lifesteal and an slow/stun/wirldwind/purge/shock wave/ensnare etc (if you can micro an dominated creep)...shure you don't get the +5 stats but an bracer is way better (for str heroes)


And you might say that you should get it for youre team...shure good idea but in pubs,as sfsy1 sayed,get something like an dagon...and in clan games you will shurley have some int hero that will do good with meka.

yeah but when i get meka for levi or abbadon, it'susually after persev or arcane ring .. that makes them casters...

if you go down the slippery path of meka on low mana heroes, be ready to at least get a oblivion staff .. for mana i mean .. and yeah pubbies are not for support, but i am a great support player unlike leading man Sad so i do what i do best i HELP and ASSIST Smile

Generally, for a hero to get Mekansm:
-He has to be support.
-He needs a deep mana pool.

Good examples are Lich and Jakiro.

in pub games mech is horrible because everyone likes to ks, and they have bad teamwork. i like dagon in pubs =)

I already seen it used by Vengeful and Viper but those are heroes who are in need of mana and they just want to have fun killing not getting healing.

Int heroes are that to fond of getting this item.

They are just or maybe supports.

They can have items that can go along the game.
