definiely, you can only see one person at time with replays, but playing is best... even if you are still sucking in the first games, nobody can pretend to be a pro in a few games.... Cool

Read this guide. It's great, and alot of points will help people who are new to DotA.

This guide focuses more on aspects of how to play non em games (although for a new player I highly recommend playing em games), however it will teach you stuff that would otherwise take you a long time to learn. It will also make you aware of things that you may not have otherwise noticed, meaning that it'll help you learn faster Smile

the guide I linked you to also has alot of quality links to other good guides in them, some more advanced, and some more general. If you think it's somethign you may need to learn about, book mark it and go back to it later.

Welcome to DS! Have fun, and stay active on the forums.

maxing scatter first is only good if youre against another hero who is pushing, or if you're playing any em game.

If the enemies pushing hard, then they will also be pushing creeps fast, so no problems there. If they're not pushing, and you get the creeps all the way to their tower, then all you're doing is making it hard to deny your creeps.
