Lots of people through GG use manta style like Mortred and Mercurial,Chaos knight as well.

I like yurnero with manta, and panda for ultimate tanckage. Works best with High IAS heroes and Crit heroes

Agreed. Naga def owns the most with Manta, with Spec coming a close 2nd.
As a different option, get it on Centaur...

Hmmm... i like getting manta on melee only... maybe late game on a ranged as a fun item. But if ur building it in ur core items then if u dont benefit from the mana burn, i see it as a bit of a waste...

I like buying manta on GEO, if they attack the wrong ones, BYEBYE! SUCKA! The other one, naga, mana burn multiple images. CANT RUN!!!

I second Naga followed by Spectre. Manta also works fairly well on Tinker since you can Rearm and spam the images (not more than one set at a time but its still effective).
Manta is particularly nasty on any hero with a lot of other core items, since the images give you a net gain of damage instead of just adding x damage.
