How to beat a good Drow Ranger or a good Clinks 1v1?

HI I Am new to DS and i was wondering i any one known how to beat these guys, my friend always kills me and in games i cant beat them...If you know a way tell me and please include an item build. Thx Mant

Bones and traxex don't have that much health, so one way you could try is to nuke them to death with lion, lina, rhasta, essentially someone that disables and does a lot of damage. Or you could try to permabash them to death with darkterror, slardar or jah'rakal. Or you could try to confuse them with illusions generated by terrorblade, phantom lancer or naga siren.

However, the key thing I think about all of these heroes is that you need to be at least on an even level with gold and exp. If your friend is better at last-hitting and denying than you, you'll be at a disadvantage no matter what hero you use.

If you want an item/skill build just pick a hero.

I usually use a nuke combo from Jakiro or any other nuker in fact.

Try doombringer [doom so they can do nothing],
barathum [good for low hp hero],
slardar [his ulti makes target always visible, if I'm not wrong],

Luna [add eye for bc],
Rhasta [just put them in the middle of the snakes],
Kardel [just keep sniping]

um im just wonderin, if pugna uses his nether ward, when drow uses cold arrows or when clinkz uses searing arrows, r they gonna take damage from it, cud you couls put it next to u and just life drain andi could only think of clinkz right now, if he tries to run away with ww at low life wouldnt he die or hp get real low

Nope. Auto-casted skills are not counted as spells.
Even Ezalor's Mana Leak won't work. [Tried it on a game earlier]

Okay, so auto-casted skills won't activate Mana Leak, but it does trigger Mana Flare.

Well last time I checked probably 3 months ago^^ pugna deals lots of searing pain with his wards everytime clinx uses searing arrows^^

Ignore this if they have updated to make it not work.

Strange that eveytime I get pugna I often times fight heroes who have no autocast so I can't be sure with the others^^

yea it works, i randomed pugna just now and clinkz was in my lane and i just put ward there to drain mana but when he attacked med me he kept geting hit cuz of searing, i even killed him in mid push when i was tryin to hurt spellcaster s got double kill

I wouldn't recommend pugna to go up against clinkz. Pugna doesn't have a lot of life. Even though your ward hits autocasts, clinkz searing arrows only cost 8 mana (I think) so it's not a lot of damage. Also a good clinkz will windwalk to break your ult and then immediately keep on hitting you.

@ Joxie - I also wouldn't recommend sniper against clinkz, maybe trax, but definitely not clinkz. Sniper (and clinkz) don't have any stuns or disables, so it comes down to pure dps, and clinkz wins with strafe and searing arrows.

i mean its a diff if i already planted a sentry ward or have a gem, place my nether ward next to me and start attcking and right when lifedrain finishes i use my 1st spell, that wrks most of the time, but this is after aghanims

nukes are really worthless if drow uses silence nicely and with bkb nukers will just die there. what if u do a eul's on drow, get near her with a str hero, and kill her as fast as u can using all the best items on that character, but then again if drow has bkb = really really big trouble, bash, disables, nukes dont mean sh*t. the only way to get a clean kill on drow is to "doom-out" her skills before she casts silence and bkb. but hell with it, just dont let drow GROW, deny her of creeps in early game and she'll be destroyed, NEVER IGNORE A LANE WITH DROW IN IT

Cast Decrepify on yourself
Life Drain Clinks/Traxex (make sure you have wards nearby or gem)
Decrepify Clinks/Traxex
Dagon and Nether Blast
Are they still alive?
