i know they show crits, but id like it if my spell, and normal damage poped up too >.<

Just for me tho.

1st: nice to see you opening threads again.
2nd: Imagine the chaos with a hero with huge attack speed like troll... You wouldn't be able to see the player!
3rd: This idea fits only and is good only for RPGs or MMORPGs IMO, because the way you view the character allows it not to be annoying.

um. just certain spells. like percentige spells or spells that vary, such as enchats orb, obsidians orb... that kinda stuff *yes they already show it i know*

@Topic: Maybe for some certain nukes like Lagunablade/Finger of Death. Other than that, it would be a quite a mess, and The screen will be filled up by red numbers poping up on heroes heads

Blatantly unnecessary. You only see the values for those abilities because they are variable - if you cast lvl4 Dragon Slave, you KNOW how much damage it does, because it says on the skill. If you can't deal with spell resistance calculations then its your problem.
Adding it for individual attacks would, yes, blur the screen, and it would also remove/change a certain factor in fights - people would be more influenced by the stream of little numbers than by the actual damage done to the target in terms of their hp (your 326 a hit or whatever it is isn't a lot against 4500hp, but if you see a stack of '326's coming off your target, you might be more inclined to stick around than if you were focusing on their mostly-unmoving hp bar).

And no, I don't know where that argument came from.
