Sigh, I don't want to have to be the guy repeating what has already been said but I guess I'll have to.

You don't PM anybody. You just sit and wait. If your guide is good and qualified it will probably be up in a month maybe.

Somethings you need to look at:

1. Number of people on Support Team and Moderating Team
2. Number of registered users on the forum
3. Number of people who have submitted guides
4. Number of impatient people like you spamming the Moderating Team with private messages about their guides
5. Number of people spamming the Moderating Team with private messages about who the heck knows

i just want some friggain feedback, i offered to be in the support team, so did folechno, but they say no more hireing, it's been a month now since my guide was done, but not even a lowsy comment saying "it sucks" nothing, so if this is my favorite site, a place where nobody gives a damn, i'd rather not stick around

I'd love to see you on the Support Team and then watch you drown in the piles and piles of Private Messages with a large portion of them being people like you asking about their strategies and their status. You'd probably think that you'd be the one that won't ignore people and actually give feedback but after about the 5-10th replay I bet you'd quit giving feedback because you see about 100 more unread mail messages.

Just think for a second and put yourself in their shoes and think about what they go through. DotA Strategy isn't their life. They don't sit on the computer 24/7 moping around and answering everybody's PMs. They have a real life.

Calm down guys......and we're not that desperate for staff.. we are just very busy with lots of other things to cater to the needs of everyone. We are currently finding a way around this(automated system to tell status perhaps?).

Please be patient. And pencil, just so you know, your guide did get some votes but has not passed yet. It did not get nuked and deleted but has not passed the requirement amount of votes to get posted.

@getatmedog: If I remember correctly, your hero ideas were quite good. Though, do understand that the hero ideas processing is taking a somewhat longer time(look at shim's idea, submitted a year ago but just posted). They don't have enough votes to pass but have not been eliminated.

Yeah, i think mode can put some auto PM post which means like "Your guide is sucks 2/10. Your guide is awesome 9/10, it will be published at ..." Something like that.. Many people will get frustated if they wish about their guide and end up with nothing.

Btw, any ST comment my Son of a beast Rexxar guide? Can it be published?.. LOL

The truth is, I regularly PM pending strat authors, but the ones that i doubt (either it has a unique build that is very difficult to try on games or it has great strategy but stupid eynglysh) are most likely to be left alone piled up unvoted (by me). Well of course i won't PM crappy strategy that only suggests you to buy items without showing how.

But after i PM those authors, 95% of them didn't reply my message! So i decided not to PM authors about their strats first, but I will only reply his PM and start discussion after that. I only start a "PM chat" on people I know.

edit: i'm too sleepy right now. if you don't understand anything from this post... that's ok. skip it. oh btw thanks to quale for pointing that out. ppl will know what to say when PMing an ST...

edit number two: wooo~ must have drunk too much. ask that question via PM, maximus.

I think if you talked to ZOMP they might be able to help you, in fact, there is a certain member who plays a DPS Warlock, he could alter the build to match yours, you should PM him and ask him to help (he will be on this weekend so you should do that asap)

I have another idea, you can hire trick someone into volunteering an ST for the hero ideas section who only gives feedback on those ideas, and a similar one for the item ideas, so that the main ST can work on organizing the forums and check out hero guides

Sounds good to me. I dont really mind anymore, I mean, I just post stuff when I have it then forget about it. I hope one day to see something I made get posted but Im not holding my breath. I think that everyone should just take a similar outlook on these things: 90% of the fun is making the idea, not getting it posted, so just make your ideas/strats then chill. If it passes it passes if not then make new ones.
