I started playing when me and my friends had a lan party. It was a great way to start as no one of us knew anything about the game so we started at the same level. Then we moved to playing against AI and then real players. Its been about 2 years now.

i start playing dota about in the past 3 yrs.. but on my 1st year.. i don't play dota everyday.. but on 2nd-3rd year i always play dota 5-10 hrs...

but now.. i stop playing dota since june 2008

been playing for 1 yr and a half..friends showed me dota but i thought it was stupid at first, so i just watched them play, then i started playing and now im pretty much addicted :O

I played the game since nov 2005....my friend introduced it to me and now bcoz og him im a dota demon!!!!the greatest of all!!!!

I consider myself one of the greatest human being to play the game DOTA!!!No doubt about it

Hmm. Today is September 6, 2008. Warcraft 3 folder created on April 5, 2008. I've been playing for 5 months.

First played at a LAN party. Only one person knew how to play and of course he'd be lame and pick Rikimaru every time and since nobody knew how to play or how Rikimaru worked, he killed most of us. But anyway, I'm a fast learner so basically the first day I got Warcraft 3 and started playing DotA, I figured out last hitting, denying, animation canceling, what skills to get, ward usage, teleport scrolls, etc.
