i think it depends on what role u played.. if u play support int, then its a good item, regardless of how much mana pool or mana regen u have.. if u wanna play nuker type int, then u wanna buy scepter (for those whose ulti can be upgraded of course), or dagon..

Well, as others say, it's good with heroes that need mana (unfortunately, he also has low mana). Good examples are ES, Tiny, PotM, Ogremagi. Sometimes bottle, too.

But personally I don't get it. Because I often team up with Mirana, and she buys Arcane Ring, too. ^^

it's not only good for int but also strength who needs mana like ertshaker.

Agree with the topic starter, void stone and bottle are way better on ints.

Anyway of cuz Str-Caster-Types should consider it, although there is still pers, which is also very good for those.

Hmm but it gives u the chance for using hook+ulti more often, i don't rly think that's a waste of money...

But it also depends on the way u play this hero IMO

it really depends. when i'm zeus, if i can afford it (which i usually can) i like to pick it up. that way, i can spam lightning bolt til the day breaks...about two bolts per one ring cd and i usually don't run out of mana since i usually have a void anyways for guinsoo, and worse case scenario, if there are no heroes around, bolt a creep, free kill...it's hard enough to farm with him anyways :3
