Q bout Spectre

actually im a newbie using spectre. my question is since he has his third skill would it be good if i get tanks item like lifesteal, vanguard, HoT, HoDefiance? butterfly is no good right coz you dont want your opponent to miss his attacks?

what do you think?

my current build is radiance and treads.

Rule Number one(for me) is always get BoT's for chasing, and most commonly you screw yourself over by running into a stupid place with Spectral Dagger, and you can port yourself out then. Vanguard is also for survivability which overrides the decrease for Dispersion.

Its alright.
Hes not really suppost to be Tanking..
But 20% damage return is pretty crappy.
say i do 100 damage..
20 damage back.

get vlads manta bfly treads radiance and buriza and let your images tank ^^.while you whack at him

You say Helm and Satanic. I assume you mean get Helm and then upgrade or not.

images take 300% damage.

WOW i know they don't tank but i mean that they take the damage instead of you, so it makes you "live longer" while your images does decent damage cause of manta and radi, and you like pwnt em before they find the real you, and if they hit your images that also take dispersion damage so its kinda nice. The more they do to your images the more they take XD

I think vanguard & Hot gives good benefits to his illusions & skills...
It gives bigger HP to illusions which deals additional dispersion damage to each.

Butterfly - I dont think illusions can dodge.

Lifesteal - Even if illusion make lifesteal, thats not important coz they only last seconds.

Hood of Defifiance - Illusions not really need HP regen..

Tanking items & Addtnl damage items only benefits illusions.

you can get (pers -->) bfury for early regen ....

im not a spectre player but the most common builds i see are

bracers/wraiths, str/agi treads, radiance/diffusual, which ever one you didnt get before, manta, while stacking TP scrolls.

if its just item build, depending on situation. if ur team got no real tank (assuming ar game) then buy vanguard IF THE ENEMY HAS DPS HERO. if not then dont buy. Hoods of D if they hav nuker but not stunner, linken if they hav 1 stunner. this is just basically about survival... for DPS and killing i normally buy EoS. it works rlly nicely with ur dagger, seriously

Nah you dont need that much HP, he is a killer not a tank.
just get a vangurad, thats enough.
my build is: vanguard, threads, some wraiths, radiance then manta.

I ususally get 2 bracers, pt and mantra. If the game drags on maybe butterfly. The damage, agility and attackspeed increese is fanstastic for your damage output.

that really the way it works?
you do 100 damage, merc gets 80 and the 20 comes back to you. so she gets a 40% difference between her and her enemy overall. not kinda crappy.
