Anyway, I couldn't figure out what to build with him... or what's exactly the best way to use the clones... or any of his skills, for that matter ^_^.
So, what do you think? Is he worth it or not?

i tried him...he's pretty good sorta...my item build :
manta style , buriza , butterfly , mkb , twin basher ====pwns combo clones then manta or vice versa....hellishly good bad again rylai cuz of her ulti all ur clones will die with you >_> unless you hit here with bash or something LOL

i dnt understand him, my teamate used him, when his clone died he died
makes no sense, if it was somethin like 50% hp loss it would have been better, that manta style thing could help but if there are AoE spells against u ur screwed

Obviously vulnerable to nukes due to nice 1.3 STR gain(possibly the lowest?) but is capable of perma-disable with the net thing, sunce clones can use skills, or a quad poof(assuming it does good damage).

Suggested Item Build:
Vladmir's Offering
Mekanasm
Power Treads
Linken's Sphere
Manta Style
Butterfly
Skill Build:
Bind = 1,3,5,7
Poof = 10,12-14
Slow = 2,4,8,9
DWS = 6,11,16
Tactics
Your clones are useful for getting more EXP and Gold **Read = Neutral creeping**
If you have two clones, you can put them on a lane without allied heroes so they can push.
Or when teams are facing off, you can sneak your clones out and let them push.
Mass Poof is nice. Let your clones poof, not the real hero. Bind - Poof - Bind
Manta Style will confuse the enemies, but is noticed easily since they have higher HP.
Clones are not for hero-killing, unless the hero is alone. Stick with clones when hunting.
Abuse thy Bind.

Obviously, if you want to make full use of all your clones' skills, then you need great micromanaging skills. Assign the real hero to 1, then each clone to 2, 3, and 4 respectively. Since clones are very vulnerable, even against normal attacks, they're better off to serve as your waypoints around the map. Once you have 2 or more clones, you can just let 1 clone sit in your fountain, while the real you hunts. Then when you're low on life, Poof to your clone in the fountain.
Poof is like a free Boots of Travel. The damage is very small, but roaming the map is cool.

Yes but Poof will take you to the nearest clone, and if you have a clone with you when you need to go to base it's useless. The only real thing I have found the clones useful to is mass XPing and gold gathering (provided you have great micro, of course), sneak attacks and mass-bind, however, even the last is dangerous as once the enemy finds out the clones he can focus on one of them. Clone dead = you dead. From a point forward the game is too item-reliant for the clones to be of any real use to you. And the hero himself is very weak so... I don't think I'll be picking him very often.

Lothars is awesome on Geomancer, guarentees a full tripple-poof combo on the enemy hero (Assuming your level 16), followed by earthbind spammage.
Lothars in next to the enemy hero and have the 2-3-4 keys bound to each respective clone. Press 2, F and select your hero portrait and do the same for the other two in rapid succession to have them all Poof nuke the enemy hero. Have them all attack the enemy hero the second they all poof in then shift between using your heros/clones earthbinds
Lothars>Poof>Earthbind>???>Profit.
Obviously less effective lategame, but for early/mid game its easy money.
I also like getting boots of travel on this guy. Each clone can use the boots to quickly jump closeby neutral creeps/empty pushes, and then poof out if trouble comes. Works well.
Havent decided on a full item selection for the little guy yet though, its too early. Did try lothars/boots though and they worked a charm

'Sup y'all! tried geo and well... We won, wahahah!!! 4x Earthbind = no escape + w/8 second cooldown for each. I own y'all with geo, and I didn't even need manta style. Here's my build (items)
-Vladimir's
-Power Treads
-The Butterfly
-Battle Fury
-Satanic (wasn't done yet, don't have reaver yet X_X)
-Kelen's Dagger of Escape
I just did some tactical maneuver to outlevel my enemies, and I reached level 19 in just 20 minuites, heheh... One clone on the west, the other on the east, while the real one with the last on the middle lane, 3x exp!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa!!!!!!!!!!!

Geo is just plain cool he's like a supporter tested him 5v5 one of the enemy was Sand King he tried Epi then Blink on my ally ( Rylai ) then suddenly I Use Bind 4x then make an alternate way for my exit Poor Sand King Wasted his ulti
Bad Thing Sand King was a n00b he had refresher and 2 soulboosters with blink dagger and 2 wraith band he used refresher tried it again yet again binded hehehe.....Geo PWNS...

4 geos on a tower drops it in seconds. even moreso if you use manta

At level 16 and above where you get 4 Geomancers, the game is pretty much over, and even if it isn't, you are more concerned with killing enemy heroes than destroying towers. That's what happens with my games at least, mostly.
