summon knight 2 sword craft story, great story, very challenging game customizable weapons, but ff tactics advance is the best still,

Advance Wars Series(Advance Wars, Advance Wars 2) - A turn-based tactics game. Lots of strategy involved, even with the simple system.
Fire Emblem Series (FE-The Sealed Sword, FE - The Sacred Stones, others in Japanese) - Also a turn-based tactics game. Character management is a must for these games.
Riviera: The Promised Land - An unconventional RPG with a nice weapon system and a choose-your-own-adventure feel.

Golden Sun. I can't stand Megaman games. If I wanted to jump around that much I'd by myself a trampoline. Wario-ware is good too.
