Shamanatic Staff

Lost from long ago, The Shamanatic Staffs weild the very force of nature. Only the wise and power Shamans were able to weild them with great force. For the other spellcasters, they are forces are uncontolable.

Quarter staff (1150)
Staff of Wizardry (1000)
Aghanim Scepter. (6200)
Shamanatic recipy scroll (200)
Total: 8550

+500 Hitpoints
+500 Mana
+40 Intelligence
+15% attack speed
+20 damage

Passive: Improves Ultimates for Lina, Zeus, Furion, Pugna, Rylai, Rhasta, Queen of Pain, Venomancer, Lich, Leshrac, Lion, Necrolyte, Keeper of the Light, Luna and Orge Magi
Cannot be Dropped

Actavatable: Call of the shamans
Randomly calls upon one of the 5 elements of the Shamans.

Gust of wind: deals 350 damage in a 400 aoe, slowing down all enemy units by 30%. Slowed units will be slowed for 5 seconds. (wind element)

Stampeed: Each kodo deals 80 damage per hit in a 400 by 800 aoe. lasts 8 seconds with 30 kodos(wilds element)

Monsoon: deals 300 damage in a 500 aoe, Random strikes of lightning. The more the units (allied and enemy) in the area, the more chances of strikes. Each strike hurts 150 magical damage.(thunder element)

Burning ground: deals 50 damage a second in a 600 aoe. Causes fire damage. Lasts 8 seconds (fire element)

Wave strike: Waves come from random places in a 1000 aoe traveling for 300. deals 200 damage per hit. 10 waves. each wave has a 100 aoe. (water element)

Mana cost: 250
Cooldown: 120 seconds.

Well, for it's i would not really know. The cost and casts are pretty good so i think that this is a reasonable cooldown.

Anybody else say so?

the cooldown seems fine seeing that its kinda half an ultimate and looking at midas' hand thingy that has 100secs CD so..not bad but would this be a lvl 5 item?

Heh yeah i guess so. Do you think anything is overpowered/ underpowered? because the recipy would go under "New recipies."

Do you think that i should change it into percentages? or make it so that it is choosable? i like it the way it is as it adds a unique factor to it.

@Black angel,
The elements have a cool down of 2 minutes. All the spells are support and nukes to soften up the enemies. they are all aoe because of the random type of elements. It is expensive but i think it is pretty good because of the spell and stat benifits.

I like it yes, but I think it is a tad strong really, a little imba, i know the price is high but for only 2350 more than aghnims, not only do you get the effects of the 2 added items, but you also get a beastly spell which has the potential to do ALOT of damage in a large AoE.
I personally think it is imba, if a hero gets hit with only 5 of the waves from last elemental, that is 1000 damage. with the movement and aoe of waves i feel that is fairly likely. Now imagine this cast in a 1000 AoE with 3-4 enemy heroes in it, that could potentially be 4000+ damage to the team for only 250 mana!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know it is random, and some of the elementals are far weaker like monsoon, but still, that is kinda extreme.

Also as a note, besides thinking the item is a tad imba, i feel the skills themselves should be more equal. Total Possible damages seem to very quite a bit, maybe try to even them out a bit, keep the variation in how it is caused, but it seems to me element 1 has greater damage than element 3, AND element 1 has a slow. clearly element 1 superior to element 3

hmm... i see what you mean. But normally they come from random directions and area. Hold on. im gonna change how far they travel. how far do you think it should go? cuz i thought it could be like 300 or something. I really do not think it is imba.

Also, should change the randomness of the elements to percentages? because it seems to confuse people a lot.

And well, that is what give the staff a unique thing. Things are different and in DOTA, things are unexpected.

Does anybody else think so?

I think this item needs to be rethought because its too imba and your upgrading a lvl 4 item. If anything make it upgrade a lvl 3 item like with the Bruiser upping the crystalis... please rethink it a bit
