im actually a bit confused. they always say that this item is good for PUGNA because of the avatar and his lifesteal will not be disrupted. is this true? can someone explain what avatar really does and how it will help pugna?

well there obvious stuff like the plus in HP etc but other than that what does thing do?

it will help in keeping lifesteal intact. but still, if your opponent runs awat, it still gets cancelled. so if i were you, i would take bkb if you have an aly who would hold the enemy in place, then you are sure to be able to keep lifesteal on.plus, insurance that you wont be interrupted.

yes... i think BKB is a nice item for pugna...
you can't stun your enemy if he activated his BKB..

BKB is good for all "ulti" channelers like CM and Pugna because they need their ulti to go uninterrupted. and when you activate BKB you go bigger and you are immune to spells. but some spells can bypass it either because it affects the general area or it does physical damage....some skills are Omnislash, and Overgrowth, and Chronosphere. Omnislash does Physical, overgrowth entangles anyone whos in the AoE, in a way it doesn't DIRECTLY affect the hero. and chronosphere..same thing, its a place that's being chronosphered do BKB doesn't block it.

offtopic., for channeling spells., when you use lothars right after acivating ulti., it won't stop right.? it will continue and you would be invisible., away from harm.? riiight.???

No it won't. A perfect example: go to Steve-O's strategy on Voljin and see how he channels his Death Ward after he gets his lothar's edge.

yes they won't be interrupted.

Fiend's Grip

all will continue when u go invisible after channelling. But u should think twice about getting lothar edge for Pugna. AoE stunners can still see where you are due to the green line coming from u.

Oh, we didn't really answer crodz2's question:

can someone explain what avatar really does and how it will help pugna?

BKB grants the avatar ability, which means the user is magically immune for 10 seconds. So it helps Pugna to channel his 9 sec life drain without being stunned by say, a big fat cow like Raigor. However, items like cranium bashers and MKB can still stun Avatared heroes because they aren't spells. Dwarven sniper's headshot for the same reason.

PS: not related, but a few spells still go through Avatar. Though they aren't really important in the case of Pugna.

I think BKB =magic immune
hero size increased(tinker become a car when BKB activated,it's fun)But BKB doesn't much help to tinker
str also increased
i think BKB is good for Crystal Maiden.
