Doom isn't reduced by regen IIRC.

Actually, Doom can be hindered by HP regen. Too bad getting 100+HPS is quite impossible. [Lol Pudge? The game will be over before he can rack up *that* many STR points]

Nope.

Neither does it reduce the amount of damage from Impetus, Glaives of Wisdom, Rupture, Doom, Gravekeeper's Cloak

lets say for pugna, if i use life drain, how would i heal at the rate of the advertised lifedrain, or would it absorb life minus natural resistance and hood resistance?

correction, doom does not go through spell reduction. If u have sceptor, lvl 3 doom, (100 dmg 18 sec) and use it on someone with mask of defiance, it will only do like 50 dmg a sec (= 900 dmg) and by this time u should have much more than 900 hp.

does this item stack with itself? what about with hero skills like antimage pudge and viper which all have magic resistance skills?

It stacks with spell resistance skills, but you have to get HoD before putting a point in these skills. I'm sure it stacks with itself, but would you really invest that much in spell reduction? Maybe against a whole team of casters, but that's rarely the case.
