how effective is this against int heroes? will it make the int heroes weak? just wondering

It will help especially against the nukers. 30% spell redux means that their spells will deal 2/3 of normal damage. Factor in the natural spell reduction of 25%(I'm not sure) and the enemy deals less than half of the damage it's supposed to. But against DPS int heroes it wont be that good.

It with your natural spell resistance will give a 55% spell reduction will is very useful IMO. Get it when your facing alot of nukers.

but what if you are the nuker and you're enemies have hood of defiance? can you still own the game? considering all players are experienced

47.5% Spell resistance actually.. Basically cuts spell damage by half. Totally screws up spell casters.

EDIT:
Too bad. You should rely on your attacks more. Still.. It won't hurt to use your spells.

Hood of Defiance is the item against almost all INT heroes, and also with heroes who are magic-based spells they rely on to deal massive amounts of damage. Hood of Defiance is a counter item.

It's used against spells which rely on damage. That's why it's best to get nukes that stun or have another useful effect other than damage

laser is the only skill that goes through spell reduction IIRC..
