Regen for Axe and nukers.

Otherwise, lifesteal will help you win the game. Heal only when you fight, and more battles = more experience.

depends on a hero. much better is the hp regen. it depends also in your item combination. lifesteal only if you have a great IAS.

regen vs lifesteal is one issue, the items that provide them is another thing. since generally regen items are better HoT>satanic most of the time, mom has a huge drawback, i usually get regen. another thing is that lifesteal is orb effect, greatly limits other possibilities.

also, i dont think regen and lifesteal can be compared when it comes to team battles. regen or lifesteal, when you get focus-fired, it means death. even if it heals at a slower rate, regen heals you all the time, while with lifesteal, you need to attack to heal. but if you managed to attack, lifesteal becomes much better than regen. so i cant decide which one is better. what i know is that raw hp is way better than both lifesteal and regen. since most of the items that give regen also gives more hp(vanguard, HoT compared to dominator, MoM, satanic) i prefer regen over lifesteal.

Well... it depends on the time if the game... in early game i prefer HP regen, but later on when damage rises and the HP pool rises too I prefer lifesteal, I guess every1 does the same, I can;t immagine otherwise, it would be stupid when u have 50 damage to get lifesteal cuz u only gonna make 5 hp on shot and u don't have too much attack speed eighter. Better buy a bracer a regen ring and a few tangos rather then a mask of death. Also it depends on the hero but ther's too much to talk about... still cuz games are usually won at late game I prefer lifesteal over HP regen Bleh!

there r diff. heroes tht need lifesteal and dunt need regen or vice versa
the first hero i can say tht really needs regen and not lifesteal is bradwarden.he has big hp so its no need of lifesteal
at lifesteal i prefer to say put it up with agi types <.<
but lifesteal for me,is betta^^

Lifesteal Is Better In Farming..
Lifesteal sucks when you are melee and your opponent is a range or a nuker..

Hp Regen Is Better When Your just trying to stay alive.. also better when your up against range and nukers..

on my case, Lifesteal for Agi type heroes, Regen for Int type heroes, Regen and Lifesteal for Str heroes

How about, just get 3 divines and mask-o-death, and hyperstone for lifesteal (bleh!)

OR

Get Heart and mekansm for regen (bleh again!) oh, add bloodstone for that and skadi!! REGEN MADNESZZZZZZZ!!!

lifesteal early game. It gives hp and money. Late game of course HP regen like heart of tarrasque or vanguard or hood.
