a new dota player here, pls provide some strategies as i was defeated badly when using alchemist and balanar.... even in the night...

out bash 'em.. use darkterror/troll warlord and go twin bashers, power treads, butterfly, and whatever items you please

whenever getting bash and charge, hero looks waiting for die only...do u think balde mail is suitable item to counter 'the pig"?

My guide to owning (almost) every 1 vs 1 game:
Pick Bane

Buy Necromicon or (dagon if you insist) as a first item (don't worry you won't really need much micro for this)

Learn Brain sap + Stats, and maybe 1 point of Nightmare if needed.

Killing combo, Summon Necro Wariors + Fiends grip + select both necro wariors and command them to attack the enemy hero (hold shift + Dagon + Brainsap if you bought dagon instead) + Brain sap and nightmare if needed.

Push for the win and repeat the same process over and over again every time the hero respawns.

Optional items
Upgraded Necromicon
Dagon

tiny. anti nether strike! the trick is when he cast nether strike on you. cast avalanche at yourself. when he apears his nether strike will be canceled becuz of stun.

i have a question. wat does shift do in dota? sorry for asking to many questions. other people may answer.

Example lets say you pressed Dismember + shift + Dagon, Immediatly after dismember ends you'll cast dagon.
It's way to chain comboes so they will go one after another but I don't reccomend this on heroes with a slow casting animation like, Ezalor and Rylai.

okey tnx, u must really be annoyed! I'll stop questioning now.

oh! yeah this just came out of my mind. when he charge at you. try to go to a place where theres no unit and when he is inches away from you cast toss. animation: pig goes infront of you then he jump infront of you(LoLz). just for fun. follow with avalanche. btw, arcane is useful for him.

Use Centaur Warchief with Blade mails.. Barathrum doesn't have a chance

Use Terrorblade. Get an Illusion before you attack him, so that you'll have a chance of dodging his Nether Strike. (He might Nether Strike your illusion if he's stupid enough.) Fight him and Sunder when your HP is lower than his. Get Skadi. Metamorph if he tries to get away. Charge of Darkness gives him away because of the status icon, so hug your tower. Be careful of permabash Barathrum.
