MKB + BASHER = BAD IDEA???

there may be a thread about this but why having MKB + basher is bad idea? because i usually go for basher then MKB specially when using troll warlord..

do you guys mind explaining why?? and oh..i am also having a hard time logging in sometimes..

well, it's better to choose only 1 between those 2. Because their effects will override each other by the time one of them is activated. If you value having an upperhand in 1on1 situations, get basher. But if you value damage, get MKB. Instead of combining those 2, why won't you combine MKB + Buriza or Basher + Basher?

mostly MKB is bought for the damage and the mini-stun... though basher can be much better at 1 on 1 games if you have insane attack speed. MKB helps in team games to stop enemy channeling spells.

Oh yah, about for jarakal. If you want damage items for him, why won't you either get him a desolator or a buriza then combine it with either MKB or Basher? Don't combine MKB and Basher cause the effects of basher and your natural bash skill can be overriden. But if you don't care about bashing, jsut get MKB and just pretend that jarakal's natural bash skill is not there. T_T

hmmm...

a 30% chance to stop channeling spell/mini stun

then

a 30% chance to cast a bash

so the author thinking about pure stun attacker... XD

well its like a 60% chance stun on your attack hmmm i dont know its not so bad or not? but i havent tried MKB+2bashers in my games lately... but i owning game by using just 2basher with any kind of hero... i just by Hyperstone then goes with butterfly XD
but as i thinked its depence on the player's choice of build or char ^_^...

somehow to me it works. Faceless Void with double basher, Mkb and cuirass + butterfly/radiance and treads = ownage. dun see whats wrong with the override i care about the dmg. And Fv has 25% time lock already.

Re-opened to clear things up.

On melee heroes
Long-duration bashes are NOT replaced by short duration bashes. For example, Troll Warlord hits an enemy and stuns it for two seconds. Then MKB kicks in. MIB bash WILL NOT override the 2 second stun. Instead, the two second stun will remain.

Think evasion. The larger one overrides the other, no matter which one you get first.

I'm not so sure about ranged heroes, as bash works differently for them.

2 bashers has 27% to bash btw..I prefer getting MKB instead bashers...(maybe on faceless,Slardar,troll and magina i buy dual bashers)

cuz MKB bash is just a mini-bash (just made to stop channeling) so theres a chance that both basher n MKB activate at the same time n then MKB will override the longer stun, MKB is basically 4 the add dmg not 4 the stun. if u wanna perma bash, better buy the bashers

I don't think thet's a bad idea.
Basher is for disable purpose while MKB for damage addition purpose....

well, on 5v5 games i'd suggest mkb/buriza. and on solo games bashers/buriza. mkb/bashers is like juggling between dps/permabasher. what you want is to be solely a permabasher or solely a dps-er.
