Dota game slowing down

Hi! I'm new in playing DOTA. I enjoy playing but after a while the game starts slowing down and hangs-up. especially when heroes have higher levels? My PC specs are processor P4 1.7 ghz, 256 mb memory, 64mb video card. is there any way to improve the situation so that i can finish games well? thanks!

try to open the task manager then end process all of image name with your own user name except from the explorer and try to defrag your pc. . . Smile

Close down all other applications that you have opened.And you may have to upgrade your computer...

You might have to delete some files that you aren't using.

Type "msconfig" under execute (when you are using windows) switch to Autostart or Systemstart and disable everything you do not know or do not need as a programm that starts automatically. There are just 2 (1) things that show up something like C:\Windows that you need.

But first search for not-used files and delete them, just as Nothingness wrote. If you dota still slows down, either upgrade your computer or try to delete some things in your autostart...

1. Upgrade PC
2. Upgrade PC Change Video Card , As Yuki Said
3. Upgrade PC Close All Applications While Playing
4. Upgrade PC Delete A Couple Of Files That Aren't Really Needed , They Take Lots Of Space If Don't Delete Them.
5 Upgrade PC Anti-Virus Scan , Your PC Might Be Infected By A Virus
6. Upgrade PC
