The Playstation Thread

I'm feeling poor and nostalgic, so here's the thread...
Only console I have now, GBA is okay, but a console has a different feel.

Anyway, anyone even hear of Nectaris:Military Madness? If you are in possession of this game and are willing to lend it, I would be eternally grateful.

Now, I'm a turn-basted strategy Junkie. Anyone share the sentiments?(in case you're not sure what TBS is, example is Final Fantasy Tactic)

We also have a TBS game called monster seed, but we used it as a frisbee. We also had Red Alert, which met the same fate as Monster Seed. Also Digimon World 2, not sure if it still works.

I've played monster Seed... but it's pretty weak as a TBS. Red alert is Real time strategy(like ladder warcraft), and Digimon world 2 is a RPG...

DMW 2 is still turn-based. What other TBS games do you know? They're some of the best games I played, but I don't know much TBS games.

Where are we. sir? the "Other Games" forum. I think you can add up the answer for yourself.

Turn-based isn't the same as a turn-based strategy. An easy way to tell is a grid movement system(though there might be exceptions). Aside from Final Fantasy Tactics, another good example is the Vandal Hearts series.

Yup. Super Robot Wars series asr Turn-based Strategies... hehe.
I've played a few, good nostalgic fun, though I can't understand a strand of conversation...

well if you want the english version of SRW then you play Super Robot War Orginal Generation 1 & 2 in GameboyAdvance.. XD its fun but there is no Voltes V,Combatler V,Gundam or many other anime robot series T_T but it has a super fun gameplay and super awesome robots!! XD
and if you had interest in reading the story of the game well this game has a nice story to tell by reading their 5-15minutes conversation box thingy XD anyway i haven't mention that its translated to english xD

Legend of Kartia is TBS, (PS 1) , Suikoden Series has TBS war parts on them, FF7 (the part where you'll defend the phoenix) is TBS also, that's all I know right now
