well the most overrated is phantom assasin because of it critical strike! actually chaos even has such skill which is a little weaker but it is not the ulti and cause(3x) while PA onli (4x).

Lol, shes not overrated, shes actually underrated. Because she doesn't have many skills but can still own because of her attack speed and suprise attacks.

Overrated maybe Lifestealer.
Hard to go 1 on 1 on him
If he is in Rage mode. spell magic are invulnerable + w/ satanic. he will sack HP from you.

If me,it is Balanar,because his high speed and attack speed vastly increase during the night. and also can silence , slow the enemy during the night.

Do you guys know the meaning of overrated and underrated? cuz it seems some of you are giving the wrong format of the answer..

However most overrated hero is: N'aix
Because all he has is passive moves, smart players can dominate him easily early game and also midgame..

Most underrated hero is probably: Keeper of the light
Even though i don't play him(my teammate does), belive me, this baby is a winner! especially when u go omniknight/nuker(like my other friend) or naga siren(like me) with him!

@heaven(hh) i know what overate and underrated mean, but my answer is contray to yours. in my area, lifestealer is a big joke. peopleridicule him and at the gaming zone, ou are rated according to how well you can play. the rank for a noob who just joined is "n'aix" (for guys). the top rank is an "abbadon" but i dnot think thats overrated.
lifestealer is actually a very poewrful hero, who when equipped with a dagon, to add atleast one active skill, and a heart with hyperstone or 2, can kick most other player's @$$. seriously, poison sting is his skadi, rage is his BKB, feast is beter than satanic. and anabolic rage is just like S&Y. maybe those comparisons weren't very good, but i like n'aix a lot.

Nai'x will have trouble on creeping early game coz of his small base damage.

Underated: Aiustha (Enchantress) coz it's useless late game.

Overated: Viper, his corrosive skin work like semi-untouchable. Dunno how to kill him with Vanguard except with few nukers early game.

Actually, You are contradicting your own self lol.

Overrated means giving something more credit than its actually worth(Eg. saying that the light is too bright when it isn't that bright)
Underrated is the exact opposite.

I do not understand your comment about n'aix. Yes he is strong if you give him hyperstone and 2 heart or whatever, but his main problem is reaching that level. In team games if you are playing a full pro game(like in our cafe) People quickly know how to stop n'aix from farming to prevent him from reaching uberness. And that task is quite easy.

and around here, no one picks n'aix, so u dont need to know how to counter him. people who random him always repick. people who rpick into him in AR just quit!

Underrated: Pugna since he's a pile of bones even more so than clinx to many people’s eyes and did I mention that his hp is a load of crap.

(For me he is the real anti-mage since Nether wards are the most hated wards for casters everywhere. I literally killed casters just standing there^^. Decrepify is a powerful synergy to any spells that do extreme amounts of damage. Plus Pugna is also the king of last hitting towers with Nether blast. I have pissed my teammates so many times that way^^ Oh and his ulti sucks...life)

Most overrated: A persons favorite DOTA hero is the most overrated hero of ALL!!!
