Stupid Haunting illusions

this happened on the current 54b version.. i cast haunt prior to a fleeing low hp enemy hero with my teammate.. i was rejoicing bec i can replace my illusion when suddenly a mislead enemy creepwave goes with the way of the fleeing hero.. THE ILLUSION suddenly attacked the creeps!! wataah! conclusion the enemy got away.. then i exclaimed to my teammate what happened., the illusion changed target., but the ulti haunt skill of Merc implies the condition that it will only attack its partner hero. Please fix this aww..

this would be a bug, do you have a replay of it as proof? (I have to ask since otherwise people won't believe you)

i'm sorry but i don't have but i assure you it happened., i woudn't be this disappointed if that did'nt happened., because the haunting illusion suddenly changed target so now you have to be careful where to cast haunt.. you may try it it simple.. lvl 6 you can try it already..

I guess you could just watch any replay with Merc. She will certainly cast haunt several times.. just watch what each of the illusions and see if any go after creeps instead of heroes.. I could see it happening.. If she haunts while you are in a group of creeps then you Bink into the woods, hmmm maybe

no its true it happenned to me once 2 i casted haunt and the image attacked the creeps beside the hero i still killed the hero (dagger ftw) its just a bug

i believe you, but i just want to see it.

might wanna send this to icefrog.

also, i saw a POTM leap away from beserkers call...
she even had that lava spawn thingy on her body... but she still leapt...
i think the person pressed leap first then she was called but she couldnt attack him in the air so she just finished animation... prolly like she was going to turn around and attack him again but then she prolly got a new command....

Merc is stupid, her haunt is stupid, all things bout her is stupid, I don't like her.....

actually i've noticed that if you cast haunt on a dead hero the illusion has nothing to attack and will attack the nearest target...also if the hero is invis then t he illusion can't attack it...merc will only follow it...(if two heroes are side by side and one dies, and youc ast haunt..2 illusions will be attacking the same hero because even thought the first hero is dead his "marker" is still in that spot until he respawns....) but there are a lot of messed up things about merc...sometimes you will desolate on a hit and sometimes you won't...its weird..

Stop asking for replays people. Just look for any replay with Spectre in it like getatmedog said.

If you don't want this to happen then for god sakes just press "R" while Haunt is up and teleport to the illusion you want to, Spectral Dagger, and chase.

you got that all wrong dude she has the best escaping mechanism cause she can go on anything she wants like that lake at the bottom of sentinels? i dont think anyone can get thre.....
haunt is a good ulti cause all you do is press t and find a hero and kill......

this same scenario happened to me when magina blinked,but maybe that scause he went outa illusions target range? anyways lol @ 3 warnings with 50 posts ><

wthhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh you have some problems with this hero i can feel it.
!!!

spectre is a god - hero. lol. If so then it'd really suck. Report it ASAP!!! :O my...favorite...heroooooooooo! -- next to nessaj anyways.
