For me i think the DOTA creators should do something about the critical hit animation.Its kinda small or hard to see and they overlap.
suggestion: Make it bigger and more cool or something for Pete's sake (something like u see in most MMORPGs e.g maplestory,Ragnorok) , and make the subsequent crit. hits stack instead of overlapping one another.

Well, if i had one suggestion, i'd say add in personal terrain features, so that i dont have to struggle with the theme manager :P
Also: Different maps would be cool. Same gameplay and everything, but maybe design the map differently, make maps where say, it the lanes are layed out differently, more like the old dota maps from RoC or soemthing..

why you put this in a topic. there is a thread allready mentioning the whole 'suggestions suggeston ect.'
the critical overlap things is just them showing that they are stacking, most hero's allready have a crit animation if it is natural, yunero thros sword back behind his head before striking, skelinton king swipes faster.
im hapopy with the terrain, you dont like ti serp, then use the different terrain modes.
e.g.
-terrain ts.
-terrain td.
this is desert and snow
ide like to see a nerf on clockwork. too easy str nuker.

I can't host, and ts and td arent personal (i don't think), so can't activate them.
I tried getting theme manages to work, just to change textiles for me, but.. it hasn't..

I want to see different optional maps introduced so that th elayout isn't always the same.. Playing on a new map would be cool, different juke lanes and fog abuse and everything to be learned all over again
. Maybe just throw it in to one version as an easter egg kind of deal, like the icefrogs and bosses in .49_________________

Right . I was wrong about the overlapping thingy.i went through a replay and saw that the crit did not overlap from a hero's ability.The only time it overlaps is when a crit hit from the hero's skill and a buriza occured at the same time.
But still, the animation is not attractive and big enough.[/img][/s]

I would like too see a broodmother nerf
I dont like her ulti.. atleast put the cd to 60 secs.. 45sec Cd 20 sec durability and a 80% lifesteal + 90 more damage thats an insane ulti, she already have got a nice nuke :pBack to top
damn not also broodmother but also his younger brother anub seran just make the cooldown of sukuchi higher than the usual beacuse of spamming and time lapse if not changing the cd of it make it a higher cost of mana

I'd like a bit more balance to the casting time on spells and such. It's so annoying when you are being chased and turn to cast some sort of slow or stun. But the chaser cathes up, and just because his animation is faster on whatever he uses he gets you down before you can get your disable away. This is also one of the reasons dagon is so good since it has no casting animation, it will win over any disable. Same with the hero puck, minimum animation on all spells.

i would like dota graphics 2 be beter.... like some1 atked n missed, should show like the arrow(drow) miss n didnt touch the enemy...

I like the graphics and animations to be coooler... Such as ogre magi fireblast, the ground will crack once the fireblast appear... Or more! When yurnero is using bladefury, there will be leaves flying in the bladefury... Sandking epicenter, there will be a fissure, in the area... But still passable... Something like tat...

I always thought it would be cool to make a capture the flag mode. Where the Sentinel had to capture the Scourge flag from their base and return it in order to win a point or something.
I know its a bit out there(as in a bit different and extremely hard to make)but it would be waaaay cool, with people having to buy alot more wards and stuff to get vision of the map and to gank them to stop them getting the flag etc.
Dont you reckon..?
Btw sorry if not making any sense. Dont hesitate to ask for clarification if need be.
Note. Some heros may need to be balanced alot in the event that this mode was to work.
