I just let my library run and turn off WC3 sounds, so I hear some rap, a lot of techno, some europop, and a little rock.

Coheed & Cambria usualy. Although Tenacious D, Nightwish, Dragonforce, Lordi, Mettalica, and Iron maiden are sometimes on the playlist. Oh, and Digimon music ^^ I like that ^^

Most of the times, If I want to play a serious game, I mute the music and leave only the sound effects. It helps me staying focus.

Except Dragonforce lol.
I turn of the WC3 music and listen to Hard Rock/Heavy Metal songs while playing DotA.
Metallica, Megadeth, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Guns N' Roses, Pantera, Dio, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Dream Theatre, Slayer, Wolfgang, Shadows Fall, Mastodon and so on and so forth.
Digimon music? The only Digimon music I remember was Butterfly.
