Guide for "Gay" axe?

Guide for "Gay" axe?

Hey guys,
Just wondering how to play "Gay" Axe.
"Gay" Axe = Axe that buys some perticular items and goes behind enemy tower and tanks creeps alone.

Could you give me some suggestions what items to get, what skills to pick and how to play it?

usually they start with 2 stout shields and get counter Helix lvl 1

for items, you would upgrade 1 stout shield to a Vanguard, and then get a HoT after that (you could make a second vanguard, but it won't really do that much more for you)

for skills
1. CH
2. BC
3. CH
4. BC
5. CH
6. CB
7. CH

basically max out counter helix asap, then get berserker's call to force them to attack you, and get his ulti at 6 (duh)

try that out and see what you think

and the problem with the starting items, is that you only have enough gold for the 2 shields, so if you could get an ally to get some hp regen for you, that would be helpful so you can continually do the wave interception technique

Get items and skills that Folechno said and lane with a babysitter like Rooftrellen and Omni (either regen skills or heals).

what kind of boots?
and what do you do if you get laned against some hero that can rape you.

BoT, he doesn't need treads since his damage comes from Counter Helices rather than actual attacks

and in early game, most heroes won't be able to stand against you, since 5-6 counter helices will kill most heroes, and 5 creeps attacking you a lot can trigger that much

some heroes that you might have a hard time with, Drow/Viper they can slow you so you won't get close enough for all the helices to kill them, also Abaddon or Lanaya since they can stop a few of the helices and then you can kill him when he's defenseless

against these heroes, you can't really do much, avoid drow and viper if they are skilled an can orb walk you, abaddon and lanaya can only stop so much damage so if you get lucky with your helices you should be able to kill them

Do exactly what fole said, and position yourself between the first and second towers of top or bottom lane. This can be foiled by many people, most commonly having mid heroes come and gank him after he runs away with 200 or so HP and made bot or top hero retreat to fountain. Is good for denying your enemy experience and you can take down towers without resistance.

actually I played axe today, against traxex and she completly owned him in 5 on 5... anywayz I don't recommend folechno's advice.. my advice is buy 1 stout and regen items, then u can easily get the 300 (300 is gotten in 2 min lol) and buy the 2nd stout from side goblin shops where axe naturally defend...

i think king-mankind advice cant use..
axe must buy 2 vanguard because with 2 vanguard he can own everyone in early game..than..after build 2 vanguard u must build HoT..maybe 2 HoT..


p/s:axe weak in late game..so finish the game fast when u use axe..!!

i didn't talk abt the 2 vanguards... I said he buys 1 stout + tangoes/healing potion and then after 2 min he buyz the 2nd stout from the side shop.

my suggestion is:
stout
heal
stout

instead of:
stout
stout
heal/babysitter hero

I get a chicken and Stout or just two Stouts.

Axe is completely a tank late game, can tank damage, finish heroes with his Culling Blade but is completely item dependent to kill someone by himself late game.

For me, i get 1 stout,gautlet and tangoes. y get gautlet becuz i get extra health/damage +3 and another stout i buy after i farm cuz it cost only 300. i recommand u to get dagger after u farm vanguard, it really really gd. Blink - hit - call - hit/Counter Helices - ulti. That the way i play axe.

to me he best in all mode..
especially 4v4 and 5v5..cause his counter helix can own everyone without item in early game..u get what i talk??
