Trillia - Alienist

Posted: Thu Sep 11, 2008 9:45 am

Beyond the lands of Azeroth; beyond the burning hells and the Outlands. There exists a place known as the Far Realm. The Far Realm is a place of absolute madness where simply looking upon the alien landscape can peel away the thin layer of sanity from your brain as if it were the skin of an orange. Few know of this realm's existance. Fewer still dare to call upon its power and the power of the abominations that dwell within. One who did was named Trilla. A gifted sorceress, she dared to master the chaotic power that existed within the Far Realm. Years past after she first ventured there, and most assumed the psuedonatural beasts that roam the plane had devoured her. In truth, she had gotten what she desired. The power of the Far Realm was granted to her by one of the nameless, horrifying deities that dwell there in. Now she has returned with maddening insight.

Trillia - Alienist
Range 400 | Movement Speed: 290
Str: 18 + 2.0 | Agi: 10 + 1.5 | Int: 24 + 3
Damage: 46 - 56 | HP: 492 | Mana: 312
HP Regen: 0.79 | Mana Regen: 0.97
Attack Speed: 1.55 | Armor: 2

Psuedonatural Monster
Her mastery over the power of the Far Realm has graanted her the ability to call on its denizens. These horrors are alien to our realm but take on shapes similar to those we know.

[1] Summons a Psuedonatural Storm Crow and a Psuedonatural Wolf.
[2] Summons a Psuedonatural Storm Crow and a two Psuedonatural Wolves.
[3] Summons a Psuedonatural Storm Crow and a Psuedonatural Dire Wolf.
[4] Summons a Psuedonatural Storm Crow and a Two Psuedonatural Dire Wolves.

Mana Cost: 250/300/350/400
Cooldown:160/140/120/100

All last for 60 seconds.

Insane Certainty
Trilla's time in the Far Realm empowered her, but drove her completely insane. But even so, she gains much from it. More then most would expect.

[1] -3 INT. 10% Dodge. +2% to MSPD.
[2] -5 INT. 17% Dodge. +3% to MSPD.
[3] -7 INT. 24% Dodge. +4% to MSPD.
[4] -9 INT. 31% Dodge. +5% to MSPD.

Passive

Alien Transendence
Years of studing the madness that is the Far Realm and speaking with the gruesome creatures that dwell within have slowly warped Trilla's physical form. The evidence of this is plainly seen in the third eye on her forehead.

[1] +2 strength. +11% Attack Speed. +100 Sight Range.
[2] +4 strength. +15% Attack Speed. +150 Sight Range.
[3] +6 strength. +19% Attack Speed. +200 Sight Range.
[4] +8 strength. +22% Attack Speed. +250 Sight Range. Gains full vision at night.

Passive

Note: this skill is automaticly chosen when this hero is Chosen/randomed. Full vision means you do not lose sight at night.

Metamagic Secret
hidden along side the endless madness and nameless horrors there are undiscovered secrets of untold power waiting for the brave or foolhearty to come and claim them. Trilla learned many such things and adapted them to her needs.

[1] Copies the last spell cast within a 400 AoE of Trilla.
[2] Copies the last spell cast within a 500 AoE of Trilla.
[3] Copies the last spell cast within a 600 AoE of Trilla.

Mana Cost: 200 + 300 HP
Cooldown: 45

Note: Does not work on ults. Copied Spell takes up the ult's slot unless it is discarded. All costs for the original spell apply. Does not work on passive skills. Will work on Auto-casts like Fire Arrows.
.

hrmm the 1st skill need a bit of reduction to mana cost . make it like 100/200/300/400 mana cost or somethin cuz 400 mana cost at all levels mean at level 1 you cannot cast it.

And does the ulti work for aura spells like undyings heartstopper aura or crits?

seriously nerf the 1st skill
31-42/40-49/47-58/71-84 Damage
Has 10% crit 1.5x damage

71-84 damage WOW thats more than Warlocks ulti when its level 1.
and 10% crit way too imba at level 7 if u maxed this skill that means your 2 wolves are more stronger than you and can probably kill very quick.
same with the crow nerf it so much damage.

if ur 1st skill is level 4 thats 2 summons with 71-84 damage and 1 summon with 55-71 damage.

maybe crow shud just be scout with no attack and has passive truesight.

And when ur 3rd skill says gain full vision at night what do you mean. Is it the max sight you can see or can you see the whole map .

2nd skill decent maybe just at lv 4 28% dodge since its a little tad too high

lol if you copy lycans wolf summon skill then you will have 5 summons lol.

i dunno this is my opinion but i think your hero is very unique based on the alien style. anyways good job

First skill has been nerfed. Reduced wolf power and replaced their crit with Poison. Also removed crow damage and made Truesight passive. gave all summons Alien Vengance.

Not reducing the dodge since you need to sacrifice INT to get it.

Full vision means no sight loss at night.

No, you cannot copy Heartstopper or any passive skill. You could however copy his Zombie summoning and you could get 11 summons. Or you could copy Lina's Light Strike Array and stun people.

Wolves and hawk have already been done, I would pick a new animals for your summon. Maybe something like a small hydra with a poison attack that increases with each lvl. As far as a bird with true sight, I done think that will mesh well with DOTA in general. An type of true sight in dota must be counterable (ie. Eating trees, killing the guy with the gem, counter warding). The ult seems balanced without the HP cost for casting so I would remove that. I'm not too sure about the passive abilities, they seem to be balanced. What is her attack range?

I'll consider changing it, but I probably won't. Oh, and I hope you'reall ready for Bard Man's October series. A new hero every week. Each will be more disturbing then this and probably make you wonder if bard Man is on any mind altering drugs.

Oh, and here's a personal request from Bard Man.

Could some of ya help Bard Man find some icons for this hero?

And maybe some models for the summons. Bard Man will give you a pic of what a pseudonatural creature looks like later.

The both passives look good, alone. Together on one hero they seem a little too good. Sure you lose some int (which is no problem, since it's an int hero.
But you also gain str, dodge, movement speed, attack speed, str and better sight (especially at night). A bitoo good imo.

given the plus of the passive skills.. this hero disregards the fact that she's an INT hero.. she has no use for her mana, since her 1st skill has a LONG COOLDOWN, her ULT depends on another hero, which becomes counterable when they know what she's capable of, even if you can copy the spell, you might already been killed before you even get to use it, make sense?

her only slow is her wolves, which act like modified Rex's pig, crow which is like a modified Hawk..

overall, its not the hero you'd want to use unless you just want to try her out, because, she's not that reliable except for the Crow which is a free Gem of True Sight.
