Support heroes generally don't need to farm. They are heroes that keep the late gamers safe from the early - mid part of the game.

Heroes like
Sven
Nerubian Assasin
Vengeful
Zeus
Chen
Rexxar
Lich
Balanar

Basically any hero that you can think of that runs around killing heroes with little to no items early to mid but can't kill as much late.

Isn't that more like nukers? XD I mean I thought Chen and Dazzle where the typical supporters...

a suport hero is someone that supports their team, duh xD

a good example is necrolight, he has a heal (to heal obviously), and a aura that minusus attack.
chen- slow, teleport, GLOBAL heal, and usually gets a mek too
lich- +12 armor, usually gets a mek...

so kinda people with heals mainly...

Support:
Basically supports other people by helping them survive and kill. Like

dazzle, he slows and heals and makes easier for the kill (he can become quite the killer himself

omni, immunty, heal, slow and magic immunity. (still he can be the killer himself

nukers are high skill damage dealers
zeus, lina and the kind

dps's are high damage dealers by attack
sven, bara and all those str heroes fall under this along with many agi heroes

disabler are obvious

hero killers specialize in killing heroes
Necrolyte, many agi heroes with slow, etc.

carry
the one that carries the team to victory. Can be anything.

Fwii is right.
The heroes listed can do well late game if they have strong items, but they also have a great early game, even without too many items.

Yes, Sven. Early on, just the stun and his good damage and his ult can kill quite a lot of things.

Basically, anybody who is not a carry. ^_^;;

the new ezalor, dazzle, chen, omni, rotund, warlock, jakiro.. and so many dude.. hehe..

omniknight-heal early-degen aura-repel ultimate supporter
chen-people see him as weak, but if used right he is like one of the strongest hero in the game.
dazzle-heal-negative armor-poison touch-shallow grave- all his skills are basically supportive. but he can also be a very devastating hero killer.
there more but yeah that's the idea.
