I have a ? about Axe's Battle Hunger

I play axe a lot and nearly every game i see myself cast battle hunger and sometimes i cast it and it disappears right away. This is not due to linkens. I cast it and it disappears and when i cast it a 2nd time it works... Is this a bug or is there a way for an opponent to cancel battle hunger? Maybe if they use a spell right away? Idk but axe's low mana makes me angry when i cast and it immediatly disappears and i have to waste mana to cast again. Someone clear this up for me.

Every time the opponent manages to kill a unit [creep or otherwise], Battle Hunger dispells automatically.

Also, if your opponent is Leviathan, his Kraken Shell will dispell Battle Hunger if it reaches the right time.
