Manta for viper?

3 heroes are better than 1 right, besides the burn does extra dmg, am i right with the burn thing?

You ar right about the extra dmg with the mana burn, but Viper's Poison attack orb is so much better than mana burn. He isn't supposed to kill people in 3 seconds, rather he uses his slow and orb walking to chase people and kill in 5-6 seconds. Also, he is a good team player due to his slows.

But basically Poison Attack > mana burn/lifesteal/maim/chain lightning

and you might want to delete your double post before yuki sees it

well try to think about this... before using manta dont activate the p atk of viper... then use manta....the illusions will do burn effects, but the original viper uses the orbwalk or maybe keep on using P atk...well to be more easier in possitioning and controlling the viper's gang use viper strike after using manta, for slow and its easier to manipulate your gang....

orb walking is more effective than auto attacking.

And i think that ranged illusions can't mana burn. Not sure bout that

Ranged illusions do not mana burn, so this is only useful for some additional DPS which Viper isn't about

well yeah they dont burn mana ive tested it but the extra dmg which is supposed to be cost by the burn is added to the illusions atk...thats why i use manta...hmm, bsides viper i use manta in my riki and know maybe i'll gonna use it on centaur...xD

manta on viper is just not worth the cost..... (viper already has orb and is not even a mirror img hero)

manta on riki actualy works because if you are against someone like slardar you can always manta his ult off (although most use ward which at that point manta is not that great)

well...in the first place i start using manta on riki because AI'S inspired me, they even use manta on centaur....

it's not that useful especially when you're up against imba cleavers! e.g. Mangnus and Leviathan . .

and well heroes would know where the real Viper is because the real one is using Poison Attack . .

if you want extra damage, just get MkB or buriza, or even butterfly, you'll get more than the damage

Manta is a waste of money, better get something else that would maximize viper's skills

mkb and buriza owns already. you dont manta for viper cause his poison attack is far better than manta. get lothars just incase your enemies are on to you already ^^
