You won't get affected by those skills. You can't be targeted if the spell target is you.

really? cool! so does that mean even AOE spells like eclipse, poison nova and epicsenter wont even scratch Purist?

You won't be damaged, but some spell effects cas still affect you.
e.g. Dismember. You won't be damaged but you're still stuck with Pudge for 3 seconds.

S&Y is better for him than Satanic, since his AS is really slow you can't get that much life. S&Y also helps you chase better, and combined with Degen Aura, almost no one can escape you.
