5 vs 5 is real dota. everything else is imbalanced.. heroes are made for 5 vs 5 . if you make it 3 vs 3 many heroes loose their potential ( like zeus for example.)

The surprise was Dotactics(contest=tournament). Old thread, and organizing international games on the Net has a decent chance of FAIL.

Good idea, but it won't work too well.

1. Time zones, people are from all around the world on DS.
2. Some players would have huge delay, due to the distance of the host, so some people would have it nearly impossible to play.

we would need to hold separate tourneys for timezones varying by a maximum of 4 hours... which is technically an 8 hour bridge..
and you could have them overlapping giving the potential for about 6 separate tourneys...

and then you need to find hosts that can support the connection.

we all live in different time zones, some of us use garena some of use battle net.

like me, i dont even know what ggc is???

and some us the new players may be playing people who are exprianced... make them less familiar with the game. the forum may be less likely to succeed if people leave...
