I actually know where my warning came from. I posted in an old thread (I was answering a question, seriously) and Yuki though I was bumping a thread to the homepage for it to be locked (only 2 posts counting mine, how could the question be answered?) so I got a warning

on an unrealted note, I inspired that posting rule ftw

on another unrelated note, 500 posts ftw

IIRC you can lose warnings by becoming a VIP/Mod/ST~~/hacker~~.

so we will get warnings if we violate the rules? or wwill we be banned directly?

if you violate the rules, you will either get a warning or be banned, depending on the severity of your offense

usually you will get a warning and an email saying where you got the warning from

if you get 10 warning then you are insta banned

If you commit a minor offense, you can be warned. If you then respond angrily you will probably be warned again, and if you don't obey the staffer now telling you to shut up, you'll probably provoke a ban regardless of only having two-or-so warnings.
