about dota's latest 1.22 patch

well,just wondering.....is updating to the 1.22 patch good or not?previously i heard theres many bugs....
also,what is the changes made between 1.21 and 1.22 patch?
if played a 1vs1 match,1 people used 1.21 and another 1.22 what will happen?should i update it to 1.22?im afraid once i update cant get it back to 1.21 sometimes i also afraid that a problem may occur and spoilts my dota,i dont have a dota cd,no backup as my computer has no more space

If you have 1.21 you CANT play with someone who has 1.22. Period.

The changes are some unit balancing, and the most important for dota, is that you can make the health bars constantly visible, without holding alt. That helps alot with last hiting/denying. The full changelog - http://www.banglagamer.com/forum/showthread.php?p=45313

When you update to 1.22 you can return to 1.21 with the version switcher.

No problems with 1.22 and dota, all your maps and saved games/replays will stay. (Although you wont be able to watch 1.21 replays)

I think its 1.22 WC3 patch, not Dota patch. Dota is just a custom map of WC engine...

anyway, theres changes to the items, sth to do with dropping them while in cooldown.

a 1.21 cannot play with 1.22, and dont worry, being updated will just bring more good than harm, unless most people around u uses 1.21.

thx for the info....but my friends are using 1.21 so im also continue using it...what im afraid of is while i update my dota to 1.22 some error will occur and crashes my whole dota Very Happy

i heard someone said change with version changer... i remember there was a program u can install and it displays HP bar automatically by just pressing ALT once or something like that... i saw it in a net cafe.

I See 1.22 Is not an official Patch from blizzard .. So it's not safe .. Check blizard site and check patches .. Latest one is 1.21

That app you are refering to is Dotakeys . Allows you to change and customize shortcut keys as well as perma display health bars. And @ topic its extremely easy and doesnt take much time to change from 1.21 to 1.22 or vice versa . Dont be afraid to try the new version. If it still doesnt suit you then you will be able to go back by just dl'ing the 1.21 patch. And @ Saiyuki_Haikusho you cant buy a dotA cd. Its a mod for Warcraft3. You can download it at www.getdota.com . Otherwise you should be able to purchase Warcraft3 at your local gaming store.
