i found arcane only works on such heroes like zeus, or ogre maybe... because they spam VERY FREQUENTLY with mana, and their mana pool sometimes insufficient for some situations, but i prefer NOT to buy arcane for INT coz it delays the main item builds

I only get arcane on Ogre Magi now. I used to get on Zeus but all he really needs is a few null talismans.

LOL. i feel that arcane is for heros that are combo dealers such as ES and tiny which need a vast amount of mana in a short period of time to carry out their skills and combos. but for spammers like zeus and bristle back, i'd prefer to get mana regen items like perserverences and void stones and nulls.

No, I never get arcane on int (except ogre magi) because they already has good int so get %mana regen item is better.

only a good item for Str heroes. The only int exception is Zues (early game)

Well it's a item only for heroes who need mana badly. For example Pudge. His hook is a very important spell in early game. Pudge can be a killer. So its best to get Arcane so you wouldn't need to go home and lose some exp.

As for your perception on Pudge, don't think of it as using arcane for noobs only. Yes arcane can give pudge that second hook he might need, BUT also think about the fact that he can stay MIA in jungles much longer. If you get ring of regen + bracers, your hp will climb along with your 3rd skill. With arcane both hp and mp will not drop too badly.

for some int heroes u need arcane for spam, but most of the times perservance will be better. again, it depends.
