Greetings & Invitation from GG-Client Gaming Platform

Hello to each and everyone of you,

I wish that you are all doing well in your life. and I wanted to say that you have such a fine community here. the atmosphere is just great and people are really friendly.

I am Jan Frederic Chiong from Zamboanga City, Philippines. and I have come here to DotaStrategy as a representative of GG Gaming Platform. I have formally informed our dear administrator drew regarding my invitation for the community to join GG. And I would also like to invite the entire community to come along and play our game of love - DotA through GG.

What is GG?

GG is the latest challenge platform that supports internet players mutually to play with each other, developed by Singapore Ocean Technology And Media CO.LTD. Players can play games with other gamers in the platform, which were originally played by means of LAN; By using this platform, people can connect and play with friends, while enjoying a very good latency. Currently you can also chat with other players on this platform. And we will add other network services based on this platform soon. The platform turns the internet into a huge cyber cafe, which enables the players to connect and play games in such a way as they play in LAN.
By gamers, for gamers is our tenet. We will try to present the best game platform to serve all the players in the world. As of now, 900,000 and counting is the number of users in GG.

and we would really be happy to have your family join GG, and together we can enjoy a bigger and happier company =)

it's great to know that you already have a GG account there.

what's your GG id? so i can add you up on my buddy list there and perhaps if there is any important matter to be discussed, we can directly chat thru GG. thank you

Amm, how's the gaming experience there? have you encountered any difficulty in gg client? if so, please do inform me for i will assist you on your issues.

I actually only used GG twice, since I don't really go to netshops that much.

I'm a dial-up user so I don't play at home.

Haven't got any problems using GG.

@Yukino: I think since we now have GG's support, it would be easier for us to organize tournaments/games within the community. Because I remember before we couldn't even agree on what platform to use (besides what time to play). So I guess now it'll be easier. I hope everyone else will contribute to this thread so we'll know what they think.

I think the whole DS staff each have GG accounts, this will greatly improve our organized games.

But first, theres the matter of fixing my dsl problem T_T

I'm an active GG user though. I sometimes get annoyed by the lack of space left whenever i try to join the Phil DotA rooms, however, i haven't had that many problems with it. Welcome to the forums, Scoooby! Now we'll be able to have soem great tourneys!

amm yes all phil rooms are full during peak hours. we will be adding more rooms in phil and in other countries in the next patch which will come very soon. maybe a week from now. the new patch will also have the clan feature available already


hoping to see more community members of dotastrategy to give their insights and opinion regarding this. thank you and have a great day ahead :P

why is it that in a shop , i play gg, when another user logs in i lose connection to gg, i cant enter rooms in lan

how is the network set up in the cafe?

also, i may need to ask infos about softwares/anti virus/cafe programs installed in the PC. because there are some softwares that are in conflict with gg tho.
