Thx for the Replies. Btw, It was said that dont run PC more than 9 hours ... Er what about a server PC that rarely turned off ? And if the casing is opened, won't the dust damage other components? Drew said VGA like fish. Does it mean that it may be dead 1 day / 1 month / 1 year / 10 years ? And what's 'welcome to my world' written by Drew? @_@

welcome to his world means he has same problem with VGA just like you...

well lets say drew's not taking care of his pet fish very well, so they die like in just a couple of days... (poor fishies )

server PC uses special kinds of ventillation and its special case allows air to to move inside the case
(sever computes cases are 50% more larger than the ordinary)

server pc were only turned on but not used so memory usage is at only 5% to 10% and means only almost zero data transfer because no application are turned on but the risk of getting the MoBO to have problem is huge and also the power supply

and if you're talking about using an ordinary PC setup as a server increase ventillation for it to last and the wires inside must be nicely bridled to have a perfect air rotation

also maintenance is a must in this kind of pc

and

the reason i give a 9 hours limitation is due to the climate
since you are an east-Asian i expect a warm tropical climate around and i'm guessing that you don't have an air conditioning unit


opening side panel problem

it's true that dust is the problem when it comes in contact to MoBO but it can be avoided by responsibly returbing the side panel after use and cleaning it by brushing it properly
