Dagon is good for everyone...agree or disagree?

list of heroes who FULLY benefit from dagon:
1. tinker
laser-missile-dagon-rearm
2. nerubian assasin
vendetta-impale-manaburn-dagon
3. pugna - not 100% needed
decrepefy-nether blast-dagon-life drain

main use of dagon is to increase damage of a combo. to use it so you wont have to chase too far is a weak argument, since for an additional 900 gold, you can get a relic, which will greatly boost your dps, so you can kill the enemy faster, so you wont have to chase.

also, the 'you-get-it-for-heroes-who-dont-have-finishers' argument is also weak, since every hero has its own roles (mainly determined by skills). dont force a killer build on a full support hero. as for dps heroes without a finisher, dagon is only 'beneficial' for the first few minutes. so its better to save your gold for late game items.

I've once watched a match where there were two of my classmates who were messing around. One was a Naix who got Frenzy and Poison Sting. He would whack a few times then finish the enemy of with dagon.
Dagon should be a finisher or an extra link to a chain of nukes.

i agree. i believe that it is better to finish an enemy up with dagon than depending on bites,slashes,scratches or any form of normal attack to kill the enemy. It saves time, y'know. it's Fast-killing.

...imagine a SWAT officer who is about to neutralize a suspect. He would shoot the bad guy with a taser just before that bad guy could do anything to either escape or fight back.

so in dota, its better to strike your enemy to death with DAgon than to give him a chance to perma-disable you.

When i play nerubian weaver I get Dagon 5.

another point is that when you equip dagon to a spellcaster to increase the combo hit, tendency is that you'll run out or short of mana after the combo. In Anub'Arak's case, more often than not,vendetta-impale-manaburn-dagon combo will not leave you enough mana for another impale to save your life.
sometimes casting dagon's energy burst is not anymore necessary because your combo is strong enough.and an ally sometimes adds one of his skills to your combo.

whereas in heroes who use a little mana and who do not have much active skills , Dagon may serve a lot for them. like rikimaru, nerubian weaver, slardar, and magnataur. (yes, i give them dagon just for experimentation. but not always. i always see to it first that the other team's line-up doesnt make a fatal combo.

Use this only for heroes who doesn't have any nuke skill like Terrorblade but can have the mana for it...

no just because a hero has spare mana does not mean you should get dagon. actually, those heroes with spare mana are mostly dps heroes, and like what ive said its better to invest on something that is more beneficial when late game comes.
